Not a real test, just a show. Neither car is stock, I didn't watch after I saw that the alleged Porsche 911 turbo was equipped with a full Techart GT Street aero kit. I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't modded further. For a real comparison they should get stock cars, equip with the same tires and have each driver run each car in every test.

Whats some of these people saying right now? The Jap GTR is a sick car that the world cant handle, logically the porsche should have annihilated the GTR with relatively the same horse power and way less weight. Just accept it, the GTR is a dominant force in supercar history.

What a BS show. They take an automatic car and compare it to a car equipped with a sequential clutch transmission. Totally unfair and biased. If the Porsche was a manual or even with their PDK transmission, it would have killed the heavy Nissan.

Is it me or is that Porsche not stock?! Hopefully just a body kit.  Stock vs. stock would have been nice. That said..give me both..both are AWESOME! Especially the new 2011 PDK Porsche Turbo...heck yeah!

Porsche got owned. When I shell out the extra dollars for the Porsche I want it to leave no doubt that it is superior by a wiiiiide margin. This battle leaves doubt, and I think that's probably what Nissan was looking for when they built this beast :-)

I love how the GT-Rs defence to losing the slalom was 'it was heavier and I had to go first' -- The Porsche is clearly smaller and more nimble as well as lighter weight and doesn't have all this technology in the way, you're more connected to the road in the 997. Put the GT-R up against the 997.2 (2010) w/ the PDK transmission, the GT-R has no chance.

I would suggest disabling comments before its a giant flame war what car is better.
