I just randomly came across this video...to clarify some of your questions: Some of us grew up in other countries such as myself who lived in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, California, USA from 8-20 years old. Some are born and raised in the Philippines from different islands too. But all reside in Manila now. We are all proud to be Filipino regardless of where we came from. And yes Tzy Tzy is still hot even after her adorable daughter Tala was born. Thanks ya'll :-)

PAS is a diverse and global group. If you research about them, fact is half of them were raised in US/Canada/Guam but moved to the Philippines to pursue their career and dream.Regardless of how some local pinoys think they are just being"maarte" or trying hard to be slang truth is they just keepin it real cuz dats how they really talk. Its cool cuz they can also connect to filams n openly relate to more peeps worldwide and yet still be proud pinoys even if theyre raised somewer else.

Of course they won't permit them to compete on abdc coz they live in the Philippines. One simple requirement on the abc show is you've got to be an American to join America's Best Dance Crew, born and raced dawg.

And for one, why join a local dance show when you've already championed internationally? Haha. You guys are making me laugh.

I believe they all reside in the Philippines now, though some of them were born/raised in America and other foreign countries. Even if they are allowed to join ABDC, that will be weird 'cus they have been competing at WORLD Hip Hop Championships for like 3+ years now. Why go down and dance for the people of America when you can dance for the people from different parts of the world??

but the members of KABA are all US citizens so they can compete in any of the competitions within America.. as for their name, I don't know, but I wouldn't agree if they change it... I mean, people know them as Philippine All-Stars, it should stay as it is..

Yeah I know it's weird, but even if they change it everyone knows they are PAS. And no, they AREN'T US citizens. Some of them were probably raised in America, but they all RESIDE in the Philippines for years now. If you watch their HIS-STORY videos you'll see them wandering around areas in the Philippines looking for costumes and stuff. They fly all the way from Phil to US during the month of HHI. They also guests at different venues and TV shows in the Phil. Not hating too, just saying.

They are not performing at the VMA. They just made a guest appearance at the ABDC set and only performed for the audience that showed up for the taping. Phil All Stars are now back in the Philippines. They left L.A. last Friday.

Filipino-American means you are American (citizen) of Filipino heritage. Any asian-americans, Filipinoes included can call themselves American as long as they are born in the US or naturalized citizens. Caucasians call themselves Irish-American, Italian-American, etc. when they refer to their heritage as well. Real Americans are the Native-Americans (formerly American Indians). Blacks are African-Americans in general. I hope that's clear. However, it gets tricky if you are from Latin America.
