I had wondered how you were going to pull off the voiceover, and I have to admit... This is just an awesome way to make the best out of a bad situation. You get all the points for the creativity in my book.
Hi, the gear used list does not include the reflectors. I was wondering about the 5 in 1 reflectors. I have a 42" 5 in 1 and was looking to get a bigger one as well. Thanks
Good video. I struggle with reflectors for 2 reasons. 1) Its hard to have someone else hold it for you. 2) Sometimes the reflectors can be too spot oriented rather than a full fill.
Haha - very funny Matt. You're willingness to poke a little fun at yourself but still get the message across with what the reflector can do was a good mix. Well done. Pehaps you should do more speak over vids :) Enjoying your volume of work. You certqainly put out a lot. Look forward too the next Jen, ooops, I mean your video..
I thought your impersonation was dead on! Very hilarious! I do think that you have a knack for it, some people just do. And don't be so modest ;-) More of the same, please!
Things like this spice up your vids and add some entertainment to the already highly informational videos from you that we we love. (Not that this vid was not "spicy" in itself, Jen is very attractive, but your voice over nailed it) Do you know DigitalRev TV? They try to combine information with entertainment as well. Thanks!
@JasonLaurain thanks mate - you will see a lot more of her - we made a fwe more videos that day, and plan another shoot in future. Also have a couple of other models coming up.
Oh, and by the way I saw one of your videos where you said women don't really watch your videos. Well, I do and I love them! I'm a women and always watching your most relevant videos.
@AF0093 thank you - and glad to hear I have some women viewers out there! (The % is still dropping!) Re shutter speed - answer is yes and maybe. Take that exact shot - if you are exposing for the side of her face nearest the window, then it shouldn't change, it will just mean that the other side comes up to same brightness. If camera is in auto, P or aperture mode, and not exposure locked, then yes, the extra light will mean a faster exposure. (or change the aperture)
Matt, where'd you buy the reflector and what brand?

@mrsilverstig I don't recall the brand - check out the description on video, there is a link to a 25% sale on reflectors.

@CreativeOutletHobbie if you have a little cash to spare you can buy stands to hold reflectors as well.

LOL! too funny. So I have a question since you're bouncing more light does this help increase the shutter speed or it won't have this much of effect?
