How great is this as a single! A good record also! First time i heard this song/band they performed live on some "music" video program. I was fucking around on my lap top and then all of the sudden the music kicked in! Caught my attention! Then i heard that voice! That was it for me! I told my friend "these guys are fucking great"! With these guys it's not all hype! I don't know if they will ever be accused of "selling out"! I just don't see them as becoming big "pop" stars! Good thing!

Iran has always been the name of the country of Iran. And no it wasn't Hitler who corrected the name so uninformed people, like you, won't get confused. Today by Persian we refer to a historical and cultural domain that includes Iran and parts of Afghanistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, etc. For example Rumi (Molana) was born in Afqanistan and lived and died in Turkey, but he is known as a "Persian poet".

What you just said is wrong. Not all Iranians are Persian, nor are all Persians from the current country of Iran, but they are all of Iranic / Aryan (a subdivision of Indo-europeans) people. I also am an Iranian, from an Iranic/Aryan branch, but I am not Persian. I agree with Kahnkan, that not all Iranians are Persian. Persians = (55% in Iran, 60% or more in Afghanistan, 90% in Tajikistan, and are minority in other countries of the Greater Iran).

Whatta ya talking about?? Every band has music that just sucks ( to some but not others) but a good video makes it tolerable to listen to and watch. Besides, its good for a band to have a certain 'look' that makes them stand out in a crowd, take MJ's moonwalk for example.

The idea that every band has to have a "look" is one that's heavily influenced by music videos. Before the 1980s music videos weren't very popular. Musicians were focuses more on their ability than on whether or not they had a "look."

I'm not saying people aren't talented it is just that in today's society to be a good musician and make music that is popular you have to be both "pretty" and talented, instead of just talented, which leaves a lot of talented people high and dry.
