I'm a type 1 diabetic and the guy who is saying stupid crap, way to go! You made me feel like I'm stupid! I've been through much in my 3 years and nothing is going to stop me...so if you have something mean to say! Don't say it...cause your hurting ppl out there!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got diagnosed with diabetes in the 3rd grade I'm now in the 7th grade and I depend on glucose but if I don't take care of my self right when I become a little bit older it's gonna take a major change and put me in the hospital and imma be on insulin:( but I learned to deal with it:)
this video and everything it stands for if fucking horse shit. diabetes sucks shit but there is no reason for this sappy S.O.B. story. ive been living with diabetes for over 5 years now and im fine. never once did i try and use my diabetes to gain pitty. fuck JDRF and fuck all this lost cause hope for a cure. it wont happen people, wake the fuck up. there are more important causes and dieases to cure instead of a manageable inconvience in your life. im 17 and i figured this out when i was 13.
Wait until you start losing feeling in your nerve endings and start going blind. You'll have nerve damage, lose sight, and have severe kidney problems before you die. It's not a "manageable inconvenience" it will most likely destroy your body down the line. So stop acting like you know shit because you've had the disease for a few years, come talk to me in another ten years when your kidneys start aching everyday. This shit is serious, and barring a cure, it will kill us both.
@JDBlessin so just because im living in the real world and dont have my head in the clouds about a diluted dream means that i automatically am not taking care of myself and am slowly dying? shut the fuck up. diabetes IS a manageable inconvience and your a little bitch if you think otherwise. millions of people are living with it, and if they choose to man up and take care of themselves or just not give a shit is their problem.
@YitKicksAss If you want to live in the real world, then stop believing the fairy tale that diabetes is a manageable inconvenience. Even if you maintain the strictest level of care, and eat the same thing everyday, the disease will still get you. I was just like you, a little shit that thought taking my insulin at the right time would keep the bad stuff away, it's all bullshit kid. There probably won't be a cure, and I'm ready to die, but don't degrade other's hope so you can feel better.
@YitKicksAss wtf! is your problem id like to see you taking 3 jags a day! having to say no to people when they offer you things. i tryed to kill myself are you saying i deserve to die!!!!!!!! i am fighting my hardest to get out of the black hole i am in and people like you are fcking mongos!!
@YitKicksAss you wake the fuk up retard!! you have just destroyed all hope ive evr had
i went into a coma at 11months old thing how my parents felt!!! we all know the cure probably wont be avalable but we have hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just because you have given up doesnt meen we have to too !! go get a life!!
My 5yr old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 1 yr old (15 months). At our hospital, he was the youngest kid ever to be diagnosed with this with a blood sugar of 900 and survive!! He says to me all the time, "Mommy i HATE diabetes!!". That just kills me!! However it does ease my mind to know that there are so many other kids that have been diagnosed very young that still have pretty much a normal life.
My bandmates dropped out of school so we could focus on our music and perhaps even achive the dream of getting a record deal. However in my case, as a diabetic I can't do that because they'll take away my medical insurence! Any suggestions?
i am 39 and diabetic, my daughter 11 years old was diagnosed a month ago, it was hard for me, i always cry , but she said it's ok mommy, God made me a strong person because He knows I will badly need it in the future, now she manage to injects herself of insulin, Looking at her i know there is still a bright future ahead of her.
my lil brother was diagnosed when he was 2 with type 1 after he went into a coma. he was really bad for a year had to pin him down to do the insulin injections but hes 4 now and knows what he can and can't have and injections are fine they get used to it. so sad when were out for a meal and the waiters offer him a lolly pop to which he replies ' noo fankooo ama diabeteee' lol
I was diagnosed with type 1 when I was 18, i`m 24 now. You are all strong, never stop fighting, never give up hope, one day there will be a cure. Life is full of beauty, Live your life to the fullest potential. God bless you.
I was diagnosed when I was 3. I am no 16 and I have kidney damage because og only 1 YEAR of DKA!!! The DKA made me get shingles, the flue, and a stomache virus, and much much more...Also, i was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis and my doctor said it could be because of my diabetes because diabetics have a low immune system.. I just wish that ALL DIABETICS will take more good care of themselves so, they won't have kidney damage or arthrits like me! PLZ ALL OF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES!!!
@MarAndJo94 that is so sweet of you honey, I started having kidney damage as well, and for some odd reason i got respiratory problems always being breathless which some doctors susbect to be of relation to diabetes ... you can only try controlling it, but like the child's mother said in the vid, what you can do is limited ....but we can always keep hoping ... take care of yourself, God bless
I was diagnosed when I was only 6 and I was scared to fucking death... I'm 10 years old now. I sing the song Fighter alot and I always think of me and all the other people and kids with this curse... We have to stay strong, guys! We all must unite! Diabtes people must unite!
I believe very strongly in finding a cure for diabetes and truly believe we will find one soon. I cannot imagine what strength it takes to be a diabetic. It's absolutely terrible but I feel extremely hopeful.
*To those going through this awful disease, stay strong. You all are my heroes!! God bless <3

I am a juvenile onset diabetic (type 1) for 41 years now. I grew up with it from the time I was 6 years old. I have lived a very normal and very active life. I played sports and went on dates and now have 3 sons. Diabetes has not slowed me down and has not stopped me from pursuing the things in life that I wanted. I am now under the best control of my life because of the pump and new glucometers. I believe that kids should be taught early the care and responsibilities of their disease.
While I don't have diabetes, a friend of mine made two videos on her account. It won't let me post the links, but I think you will enjoy them. Her username is @HeartCOOP. Through her, and another friend, who sadly, passed away of unrelated causes, I have learned about the disease and I an watching random youtube videos to get more of a sence of everyday life.
I've had it since I was 13 in 1999 the doctor was reading the test results two years prior and told my mum that I wasn't a diabetic, though she knew the symptoms because my father was a diabetic [he passed away when I was 11] . My brother and I were tested every year after my dad was diagnosed 2 weeks after I was born as a T2 diabetic. I'm a T1 and have been on the pump since 05.
hey spottyman im a type 1 diabetic and i know for a fact that a raw vegan diet cant prevent u from taking insulin if u have type 1 diabeteswich is what they have
like gabriel cousens has proven by eating a raw vegan diet you will no longer need to take insulin and your BGL will be normal. I wonder if these kids having it at a young age got it by consuming cows milk? as is now known that cows milk protein causes your body to create antibodies as it sees the protein as forgein and these antibodies attack the pancreatic islet cells in the pancreas.
thats reversal or type 2 diabeties but children can lessen the risks of getting diabeties by not consuming cows milk formulas or any milk formulas other than mothers breast milk. If unable toproduce breast milk raw goats milk is less damaging than cows milk
Sorry my friend, but diabetes cannot be stopped! Milk does not affect the chances of getting this disease and neither does eating too much sugar! You are living a very sheltered life, if you are believing these falsehoods and old wives tales.
Have you ever seen See the documentary "simply raw reversing diabetes in 30 days . all type 2 diabetics went off insulin and the type 1 reduced his down to 5 units and some type 1 have been cured conpletely. The body canheal itself if you let it. So i think you are the one kept in the dark. The Dr tells you you will never go off your insulin so you have this belief fixed in your head!
Spottyman, Where is the miracle cure? I have done research and looked everywhere for such a cure. Your body does a lot of self healing, but it cannot fix something that has been damaged this acutely. The Drs. have nothing to do with my condition or beliefs. Proven facts have the ideas set in my educated mind. I would need to see the proof of such a cure. A type 2 diabetic can very easily come off of insulin with proper diet and care.
@KC0TCH Dr Gabriel Cousens is a medical Dr and a world leader in natural health. And who said drinking milk will make it go away ?? dairy is a big cause or plays a part in many diseases I would never say to drink milk to anyone unless they want problems. remember the body heals itself if you give it a chance
@mythiclover62 : Spottyman is right & the miracle cure u looking for is here. The only way to cure type 1 diabetes is to regenerate the cells in the pancreas. U said u need to see proof that is my mission to provided proof becuz i dont expect u or no 1 else to believe me do to the significant amount of con artist. the last part of your statement was true proper diet & exercise a type 2 diabetic can come off insulin but that is not always the case
I had gestational diabetes I had to maintain my sugars with diet only, no insulin it was difficult but doable. Sadly when my daughter turned 1 she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes it broke my heart. I was so furious I wished that I would have been the one to get it. Its not fair to have that happen to a baby. I know that diabetes is managable but you can never escape diabetes. Everyday there it is. I hope to God a cure comes soon. I hate diabetes and and the limits it puts on my child.
If it helps I've had type 1 diabetes since I was 3 (I'm 18 now) and apparently
hayleyxxxgosselin32 has had it since age 2 (see previous comment). Type 1 diabetes is usually more frightening for the parent then the child, especially if they get it at a young age. It definitely something that people can live a normal life with. I hope it all works out for you and your daughter.
if you use insuline injections and good doses you can live like a normal human.. i've been diabetetic since i was around 1 and a half , and now i eat whatever i want , i inject my insulin myself
Way back in 1894, a little girl named Madeline Crothe was skipping through the woods when a mysterious man in black snatched her. He brought her to his house, tourtered her, and starved her to death. Send this to 6 videos in the next 30 min. and you will be safe, but if you don't... at approximately 1: 34 tonight you will wake up to see an aneorexic child holding a bloodied up knife and she will kill you
i have had type 1 diabetes since the age of 2! it is painful and it still is. i got an insulin pump when i was 8 and i love it! my birthday was on may 19th and im 14 and i have had diabetes for 11 years! we have to monitor my other 6 siblings closely because they could get it just like me. but i dont let it get in my way i still do sports and very active
i've got diabetes even longer then you =p. they diagnosed me for diabetes when i was around one and a half , i'm 14 in january and have diabetes for 12 years and a half. Besides the 4 times that i almost died , i have nothing to complain about
Stay strong! I made a slide show - PLEEZ GO WATCH IT (type 1 diabetes - live your life !! yeah...) I pray for everyone of you who struggles, HOLD ON you can do it!!
my friend has diabetes and just seeing her go throu it every day makes me want to cry but its type 2 so maybe it will go away i just hope that people will find a cure one day
I was diagnosed with Diabetes when I was 3 years old. My mom and dad were sad, but I try to accept and not be different than the others. My parents also want me to live a normal kid with controlled diabetes. I have had diabetes now for 7 years! Still struggle with acceptance daily, but we try. Cheers.
I have diabetes my self and i am 11 years old and i started going to the bathroom a lot and drinking a lot and when my mom took me to the doctor my doctor told my mom that she thought that i had diabetes and yes it is hard to control it but i was diagnosed Febuary6th,2008 so i have had diabetes for a year and i just love knowing that I'm not the only one that has diabetes... :'(
Every time i look this makes me sad.I have diabetes my self but it is not the same a kid doesnt supose to have this i hope there is cure for this disease.
i have type 1 diabetes and what alot of people dont know it isnt as easy as an insulin pump. they cost $6,000 not everyone can afford one and diabetes ruins lives and people suffer.
i found out i had diabetes when i was 211 i am now 12 and it is a hard life to keep up with i dont feel normall sometimes when i have to go ot of lessons to check my blood sugar!!!
OMG iv had it for a year i dont think its soo bad i got the minimed pump. PLUS we with diabetes are only gunnu have it for a couple more years hopefully. There finding a cure!
The main point I would really like to bring out is for any diabetic or pre diabetic is to give ANY high carbohydrate diet a BIG MISS. These include the so called "LOW GI", ALL vegetarian, VEGAN and in particular RAW diets. These diets are very high in carbohydrates, in particular fruit sugars. Remember, for an insulin dependent diabetic, you need to cover ALL carbohydrate intake with insulin dosage.
The sensible thing to do is to limit carbohydrate intake with a low carb diet.
A low carb diet decreases the need to take any medication. High carbohydrate diet only imposes a need for insulin to suppress high blood glucose levels. Proteins and fats do not rise blood sugar levels while ANY carbohydrate does cause blood sugar "spikes".

Ido not believe type 2 is just from being overweight. I had gestatial (sp) first and was very thin. I got very sick at a weight of 157 and now at 201 I am surprised that I am still alive at age 51. Has anyone else gained weight from Novolog?
Insulin is a fat storing hormone. I am a male with type 1 diabetes and gained 30+ pounds in the first few months after getting on an insulin pump (to my suprise) after having done injections for 15 years prior. I am on Humalog.
listen up guys hu r dieabetic im scared 2 coz ma m8 has it ma BST M8 n i luv her (as a m8) 2 bit n wen she was in hospital me n ma otha bst m8s were petrified! bout her n its nevva gonna go sorry guys!! :(
I was diagnosted with type 1 in october 2003 when I was 18.Well...In my neighbourhood one boy has diabetes too.But he is a baby!He is 2 year old.I want cry when I looking him how he is so young and so strong and happy. He gives too much hope...
I have a boyfriend with diabetes and he has now had it for 8 years. He's such an amazing person and he has done so much for diabetes fundraiser.I also have myself raised over 200$ in less than a month. I love him so much and it has taken alot getting used to but he handles it so well.. My prayers go out to all children and adults struggling with diabetes
Forget the fundraisers. They will never market a cure for diabetes so why bother. They have already cured diabetes lab rats. Curing humans is not profitable for drug companies and doctors. I've had diabeties for most of my life and I've experienced insulin shock, and diabetic retinopathy, etc. You can bet there will be NO CURE for diabetes marketed. 1Cure=$Billions$ of profits lost for drug companies and doctors....
It is frustrating, I kinda feel the way you do. I know there are greedy people out there only concerned with profit, I hope there see the light or get diabetes theymselves maybe then that would motivate them to do something.
I was diagnosed with type 1 in June of 2001--Its tough but I was 27 when I got it. I couldnt have imagined it when I was as young as Jack...Great job buddy on dealing with this. I want to tell all the kids out there that life will be ok as long as you manage this disease. You can eat anything in moderation. Just live your life and deal with things one day at a time. You are all brave souls and keep fighting this war. God Bless.
My sister used to go to diabetic camp when she was younger, every time my family would drop her off there they would have tables set up for family members to get have blood taken to see if they had the antibodies for it that's how I found out I had it. Me, my sister and my brother all have type 1. Type 1 is genetic, type 2 is caused by being overweight just so you know, I was diagnosed when i was 8 now i'm 21, my sister was 3 she passed away from it at the age of 25, my bro was 21 now he's 33
i think this video shows a good point that the kids do get "used" to living with Diabetes.. however i think perhaps it may downplay a little bit the seriousness of the disease in the way it states and shows that a diabetic can live a normal life... yeahhhh.. "Normal".. there is nothing normal IMO about having to deal with the madness of lows and highs of blood sugar, thinking about everything you eat, dealing with complications, and taking a zillion shot over the course of your lifetime!
I feel so sorry for people with diabetes let alone type 2, my step father had type 2, he was constantly battling it, he was so miserable. his feet were swelling then going down then swelling again, he could eat hardly anything with us. In a way im glad i don't have diabetes but i feel sorry for those, i talked to my doc the reason why he thought i was going diabetic, it was my epilepsy med side effects, the only difference between these two is fruity breath. i hope thy come up with a cure asap.
i have diabetes and for the first 2 and a half years my sugars were just terrible but now i have gone onto a new insulin called lantus and my sugars are always nearly perfect. i have 4 injections a day. and it is easy when u get used to it
Look to diet...no not just sugar, but there is a great deal of evidence that making the body more alkaline will reduce the need for insulin and, depending, even remove the need for supplemental shots. look up "acid and alkaline foods" and you might get some insights. also alkavitahealth has information on diabetes and shows a man's toes that was going to be removed, but was saved by alkaline treatment. Our bodies are kept too acid by our diets
My daughter is type 1 and liked this vid. I asked her if thats true, if they get used to the shot and she said "ya". I guess if the choices are get a shot or die a slow painfull death...Id do it to. these kids are stronger than any army!!! RESPECT
It's more like pricking your finger with a pin very very quickly. It actually can harden the skin on your fingertips if you do not change fingers regularly. I now use a test machine where you prick your arms or legs, rather than fingers. I find that one painless.
12larlei. Comments from cretins such as you are actually quite useful because it gives people like me the inspiration to post an answer to your verbal tripe. Type 1 Diabetes has NOTHING to do with weight. Many people get confused between type 1 and type 2 diabetes which is linked to obesity. But then I wouldn't expect you to know that 12larlei. I can't imagine you know that much at all about anything.
My son is 3 yrs old and diagnosed with diabetes less than 2 weeks ago. In a way it still feels like a dream, but this won't go away. We'll make it, but it's so hard. He's only 3.
You just need to take it day by day. Each test needs to be taken as a step in the right direction, because when you look at the big picture of 4-8 tests a day. Shots, meals, carbs you can easily get overwhelmed and scared
i have had diabetes since third grade. it hard.. it sucks so much.. and it may seem impossible and horrible but you can do it no matter what... don't let it control u.. and for anyone who unforgunately has this we can do it... just stay strong...
My three year old daughter is a type one diabetic. I also believe this disease has made her one of the bravest people I know. One issue I have had is finding quality chid care. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have a question! My athletic trainer thinks I might be diabetic. I have had regular blood tests at the doctor's office, but he says that even that can't always diagnose it. I LOVE sugar. I drink 1 1/2 to 2 bottles of Coke a day at work. All my favorite foods are full of sugar and or carbs-ie. ice cream, potatoes, bread, pizza, pasta, ketchup. I also love to drink beer and wine. Could I have diabetes? Where should I go to get tested if I might?
"My athletic trainer thinks I might be diabetic." - gymman1031
Based on what symptoms? What I noticed was a bizzare, persistent sense of tiredness and thirst, and closer to diagnosis my skin was so dry that it tore open on its own; but even if that isn't the case with you, ask a doctor about getting checked for it. I ended up in ketoacidosis because of not getting checked and I'm VERY lucky to be alive...
"Kids should never have to say that taking multiple needle pokes a day is "not that bad". It breaks my heart" - gymgirl341
Well, I'm not a little kid but I don't think that would make much of a difference with regards to how I've gotten used to the daily needles. It's the fact that my health is nonetheless being inevitably damaged by a disease out of my control that bugs me, and the worst part is the constant risk of my blood sugar going so low that I could pass out and die...
What a fantastic video. My daughter was diagnosed at 20 months old and has just turned 5. I can't say things have gotten easier, but we are doing our best. I think that children and parents of children living with diabetes have one of the toughest jobs around. They are so brave. The video brought a tear to my eye because I can relate to it so well. They have so much courage and can do anything a person without diabetes can!!!
Thanks for sharing this. My very thin, athletic, otherwise healthy 10 yr. old was diagnosed just 9 months ago. The best we can do is just our "best" and most days we live on a wing & a prayer.
hey its not our fault we have diabetes and we all are not fat i am 14 and 93 pounds and we can do anything nondiabetics can do so you can fuck of you fat motherfucker
Yeah, that's some attitude but it's perfectly understandable. As a Type-2 adult, which is bad enough, I can honestly understand having days where you want to tell the world to f**k off. Good days and bad days, highs and lows. Hang in there, 'diabetic13'. And thanks to the video poster for this one.
what the f*** is the matter with you! if you had diabetes, i bet you would take back eveything you said! They are NOT fat, and where does ice cream get into this! ass hole and all other names there are.
wow...i actually skipped the video and came to these comments comming from this moron(12larlei)...you need to get yourself educated...and know theres 2 types..quit listening to the media...so many people get their info from the media...the media never talks about type 1 (the type me and these THIN kids have in this video)...you make yourself look like a motherfucker for posting such stupid ignorant comments...your IQ must be..what..around 3 maybe?
you are probably The stupidest person ive ever heard, and diabetics are not fat and type 1 diabetes has nothing to do with weight at all so your probably someone with no friends, who has nothing to do but critisize things, and have everyone hate you bcuz you are dead WRONG
my mum and dad both have diabetes,- my mum has had it since she was 11, my dad since he was 40, so even though i dont have it myself i understand what people go through, and seeing as both my parents have it i have a much higher risk than everyone else to getting it. yes, a cure would be nice :P but there are far worse things in the world as people can get back to normal life pretty easily
I used to accept it when people told me it could be worse, or there are worse things in life than diabetes. As if to say it's not really that bad, and in a way it's not so bad. What these people don't say or know is that diabetes can very well be a stepping stone disease to other diseases which are hugely worse.
So when people say there are worse things in life I reply, yes and I may very well find out sooner or later.
My best friend was diagnosed last year and I remember both of us being really down and sad and then we got over it and took it one day at a time. Now its like she doesnt have diabetes anymore. I think I know much more and having a friend with diabetes has helped me to understand more. I was told 5 months ago that I might have diabetes but then after a few tests they found that it wasnt diabetes but at least I would have had my friend to help me.
I've had diabetes since I was 2. I also have Arthritis and Celiac Disease. I hate when people look at you like yout're a freak. I hate my life as well.
i'm a type 1 diabetic, but i hate when people make diabetes seem so terrible. I mean i much would rather have scientists looking for a cure for Cancer instead.
I have had diabetes for 11 years, I am 13 and have led a perfectly normal life. My sisters never were treated differently to me, and as far as I'm concerned its never ever stopped me from doing anything. Its just a hurdle in life and I had to take it on, after all it could be much worse.
@ZendayaFan2000 I got it in October 2010 n the insulin pumps great I have the omni pod its tubeless best decision of my life.;)

i am 39 and diabetic, my daughter 11 years old was diagnosed a month ago, it was hard for me, i always cry , but she said it's ok mommy, God made me a strong person because He knows I will badly need it in the future, now she manage to injects herself of insulin, Looking at her i know there is still a bright future ahead of her.

my lil brother was diagnosed when he was 2 with type 1 after he went into a coma. he was really bad for a year had to pin him down to do the insulin injections but hes 4 now and knows what he can and can't have and injections are fine they get used to it. so sad when were out for a meal and the waiters offer him a lolly pop to which he replies ' noo fankooo ama diabeteee' lol

MarAndJo94 1 year ago
@MarAndJo94 that is so sweet of you honey, I started having kidney damage as well, and for some odd reason i got respiratory problems always being breathless which some doctors susbect to be of relation to diabetes ... you can only try controlling it, but like the child's mother said in the vid, what you can do is limited ....but we can always keep hoping ... take care of yourself, God bless

Laughaholic08 2 years ago
I've had it since I was 13 in 1999 the doctor was reading the test results two years prior and told my mum that I wasn't a diabetic, though she knew the symptoms because my father was a diabetic [he passed away when I was 11] . My brother and I were tested every year after my dad was diagnosed 2 weeks after I was born as a T2 diabetic. I'm a T1 and have been on the pump since 05.

hey spottyman im a type 1 diabetic and i know for a fact that a raw vegan diet cant prevent u from taking insulin if u have type 1 diabeteswich is what they have
spoofooz 2 years ago
like gabriel cousens has proven by eating a raw vegan diet you will no longer need to take insulin and your BGL will be normal. I wonder if these kids having it at a young age got it by consuming cows milk? as is now known that cows milk protein causes your body to create antibodies as it sees the protein as forgein and these antibodies attack the pancreatic islet cells in the pancreas.
spottyman 2 years ago
Thats bullshit mate =) you still need insulin. its made in your body even if you don't eat.
soloskating 2 years ago
I see 2 negative hits. obviously you people are uneducated get out of the fasle belief system are take control of your health
spottyman 2 years ago
thats reversal or type 2 diabeties but children can lessen the risks of getting diabeties by not consuming cows milk formulas or any milk formulas other than mothers breast milk. If unable toproduce breast milk raw goats milk is less damaging than cows milk
spottyman 2 years ago
Sorry my friend, but diabetes cannot be stopped! Milk does not affect the chances of getting this disease and neither does eating too much sugar! You are living a very sheltered life, if you are believing these falsehoods and old wives tales.
mythiclover62 1 year ago
Have you ever seen See the documentary "simply raw reversing diabetes in 30 days . all type 2 diabetics went off insulin and the type 1 reduced his down to 5 units and some type 1 have been cured conpletely. The body canheal itself if you let it. So i think you are the one kept in the dark. The Dr tells you you will never go off your insulin so you have this belief fixed in your head!
spottyman 1 year ago
Spottyman, Where is the miracle cure? I have done research and looked everywhere for such a cure. Your body does a lot of self healing, but it cannot fix something that has been damaged this acutely. The Drs. have nothing to do with my condition or beliefs. Proven facts have the ideas set in my educated mind. I would need to see the proof of such a cure. A type 2 diabetic can very easily come off of insulin with proper diet and care.
mythiclover62 1 year ago
well you have not researched Dr Gabriel Cousens then he has helped hundreds reverse this condition.

@KC0TCH Dr Gabriel Cousens is a medical Dr and a world leader in natural health. And who said drinking milk will make it go away ?? dairy is a big cause or plays a part in many diseases I would never say to drink milk to anyone unless they want problems. remember the body heals itself if you give it a chance
spottyman 1 year ago

It's the fact that my health is nonetheless being inevitably damaged by a disease out of my control that bugs me, and the worst part is the constant risk of my blood sugar going so low that I could pass out and die...

you are probably The stupidest person ive ever heard, and diabetics are not fat and type 1 diabetes has nothing to do with weight at all so your probably someone with no friends, who has nothing to do but critisize things, and have everyone hate you bcuz you are dead WRONG

my mum and dad both have diabetes,- my mum has had it since she was 11, my dad since he was 40, so even though i dont have it myself i understand what people go through, and seeing as both my parents have it i have a much higher risk than everyone else to getting it. yes, a cure would be nice :P but there are far worse things in the world as people can get back to normal life pretty easily

I was told 5 months ago that I might have diabetes but then after a few tests they found that it wasnt diabetes but at least I would have had my friend to help me.

i'm a type 1 diabetic, but i hate when people make diabetes seem so terrible. I mean i much would rather have scientists looking for a cure for Cancer instead.

I have had diabetes for 11 years, I am 13 and have led a perfectly normal life. My sisters never were treated differently to me, and as far as I'm concerned its never ever stopped me from doing anything. Its just a hurdle in life and I had to take it on, after all it could be much worse.

very true in every way,
the strength of kids blow me away,
my daughter makes me feel so proud,
she never moans or cries aloud,
and when the ice cream van does come ,
she knows she probably wont get 1,
and when your 5 it aint no joke,
to know that sugar makes your body choke ,
top vid respect

awesome poem! did you make it up or did you see it?
stupidblonde1yukifan 4 years ago
i made it up i always do,
its good to make a point or 2,
and when its wrote in simple rhyme,
i find more people take the time ,
to read and maybe understand,
to be worse off we surely can,
to think of others every day,
i wish we all could think this way ,
