Damn, she's good! I paid little or no attention to TLC & this song when it was first released. Too poppy for me at the time. This however, ..... I can't get enough of it! Fantastic! Powerful! Solid! Rarely is a cover better than the original. This is one of those rare times.

I don't know if it's supposed to be a singing style, but her breathing is god awful. Half the time she sounds like she is struggling to get to the end of a line.

@Noblelox That's what happens to people that smoke cigarettes. I worked with several women that smoked and their voices were either completely gone, sounding like they had rubber vocal chords like a frog, or squeaky pathetic voices, hacking hoarse. Nothing left. It's sad. Don't know why people want to destroy their bodies that way.
