Before taking this womans advice just remember that she doesn't know the difference between mortar or render and concrete! what she is mixing is not concrete. she should be adding lime to, it adds elasticity to the mix and helps it to "breath" when dry. take those big titties home and leave it to people who know what they are doing! people take advice from this type of video and its plain wrong!

yeah i think using something lime based affords for what ever is behind it to "breath" and allows for movements - less likely to crack etc. would not mixing with a stick or drill whisk be better? nice video though

Using cement is counter productive as it is dense, rigid and doesnt allow the straw to breathe. Pure lime mortar on the other hand allows for movement of moisture and is more flexible. Cement production also creates a massive amount of co2

@freddiestar Look up cement stacco: 'vapor-permeable, water-resistant building paper'. It's the only material that can provide a water-resistant coating for a building that WILL BREAK DOWN WHEN EXPOSED TO MOISTURE!!! Being green is one thing... being unreasonable and not checking facts before speaking is another.
