I play 1996 manuel bellido (spain) here. I gota alot of guitars . I just bought a guitar from the Norwegian luthier Yngvar Thomassen and it's 10 times better than this guitar.
Very regular tremolo and played with spiritual expression. Excellent intrepretation. I think the whole discussion about wether Recuerdos or Una Limosnita is the most beautifull tremelo piece is quite irrelevant. I regard both compositions as a gift from God.
I had tears running down my face after listening to your performance of the Barrios masterpiece. Exquisite, sensitive interpretation. The fateful knock-knock of the beggar at the door comes through perfectly. Through your beautiful playing, I feel like Augustin Barrios has communicated something very profound across the decades. "An alm for the love of God". Surely God would be pleased. Thanks for the post!
Exquisita interpretación de Barrios. Te felicito. Acuerdo en que podría mejorar la mano izquierda pero poco le quita a lo que he disfrutado tu interpretación. Seguí haciéndonos escuchar más de tu buena música. Guillermo
Hey Johan - wow - loved it - I too have caught the Barrios bug (not sure why we NEVER played any Barrios back in school days :-\ - anyway - thanks for this one - I really like limosna but my tremolo still sucks badly since my return to playing - and my R-thumb is still not very accurate and causes me fits when I plink around on limosna :-( Oh well - maybe one day
Very nice indeed, your love of the work comes accross very well. Some of the negative comments you have had are totally unjustified., some should try playing it, better still understanding the piece. I hope you upload more.
Awesome,Awesome,Awesome! You made me eat my words, as I didn't see your video before, now I have : ) Sounds Great! You say this is the most beautiful tremolo piece ever, why? Most people would say Recuerdos is. Although I think they are both beautiful tremolos, Una Limosnita grabs my ears attention a little more than Recuerdos does. Your guitar sounds awesome.
Well, probably Una Limosnita is much 'younger' than Recuerdos, Una is only about 60 yrs old while Recuerdos is more than 200 yrs old, so Recuerdos accumulated more audiences and hence reputation?
otimo amigo muito bom !

I think that Recuerdos de la Alhambra is considered the most beautiful tremolo etude in the history of guitar... but still i prefer una limosna.
