I'm not saying Afghans are weak or that they aren't a resilient people; i'm just saying, quit distorting history to suit your argument. Soviet troops in Afghanistan defended social progress in their fight against the Mujahideen and were in fact winning the war until Gorbachov decided to appease Reagan. Putting the Afghan Mujahideen in the same boat as the Iraqi and Palestinian Resistance is absurd.
