  • Just look at 6:34. All of the cars are still running. That is what i miss the most about the old Nascar.

  • Kenny Wallace's explanation would probably be "I don't know what the hell happened..."

  • as much as jerry punch makes some questionable commentary his little "pun" about jimmie falling to the back at 5:31 was pretty amusing:)

  • how many lead changes were there?

  • 28 lead changes

  • actually, in the whole race there were 64 lead changes among 28 drivers

  • Yeah and 11 cautions made it for the slowest Talladega race ever recorded in the history of Nascar AVG. Speed was 128MPH

  • Not quite, there were only 10 cautions and the average speed was 140mph.

  • well still 41 laps of cautions that's a lot!

  • True, we can thank Goodyear's lousy tires for that.

  • @m140m This wasn't a Goodyear problem - the Hoosier-shod ARCA cars blew a number of left rears during their race the previous Friday. Overall, though, Goodyear should not have any monopoly - Firestone and Hoosier need to be competing against Goodyear in NASCAR.
