@twinturboteen18 why would it have the original voice cast anyway? shin mazinger is an adaptation of the mazinger mangas. also too much nostalgiafagotry in here. shin mazinger is pretty good on its own, and i'd consider it miles better than the original toei mazinger z production.

@SatanBla Your right I ended up watching the whole show, to be honest i liked the mazinkaiser ova the best, it was simple plot wise compared to this but this wasnt bad I didnt like the kedoara much was a little creepy for me but everything else was cool.

Grandpa was awsome and i liked the whole story about zues and mazinger being tied together. Not to mention you see what a devil mazinger looks like.

Clearly not. Blade IS Tsurugi. Tsurugi means Blade in Japanese. And the shillouete that Blade stands in front of looks awfully like Great Mazinger.
