Another example for PS3 is how powerful the Cell processor.
i like both consoles but i hate how ps3 nerds use the blue ray capability as a "enhancment" over xbox i know that it helps with games but who cares how good the quality on a movie is its a GAMING console not a DVD player
@hinbow actually the ps3 was made as a blu-ay player before it was even a gameing device, they worked harder on the hd quality and discs to make it a home theater, but in the end they came up with the marvel witch is the ps3
and btw blu-ay isent just a dvd player, its that and more

It's just been announced with Warner Brothers jumping ship to BLue-Ray it will command 70% of the market. Toshiba backed out of a seminar promoting HDDVD in Las Vegas, it's crisis time for HDDVD. R.I.P.
Blueray is going the way of BETA tapes. The HD-DVD will become the standard. You can get them for $100 now....although I like PS3, I don't think showcasing this feature is a good thing because movies, exception of Sony movies, are going HD-DVD. Bye bye blueray.
My ps3 only crashes when i play dick ass games like Black ops :P
