Dude.. i really hate it when i wake my self up due to excitement when i realize when i'm dreaming. And i know it's because of my freak dream sign. Sounds funny but i always realize that i'm dreaming when i'm dreaming that i'm having sex. xD Last night i was dreaming that a girl is giving me a you know what then fucking realize that i'm dreaming then woke my self up due to excitement. Now i don't like that dream sign because it always wake me up from my dream. Any advice?
I think there's definitely something to this. Last night I had a dream where there were some figures written on a dry erase board. Any Oneironaut knows that symbols will often change when you are looking at them. But I wasn't thinking about it, my mind was on something else. One of the dream characters kept talking to me about them. I took it to mean that they were asking me about whether or not I had memorized them for the class, but they were giving me a hint to notice that I was in a dream
the first time i lucid dreamt, was when i was 5, i got in perfectly no troubles, then i was like OH HOLY SHIT, IM DREAMING YEWWWWW. then i woke up. If i realised how much time i had, i sure would of spent it on something good, not talking...
When I was little, I did the same thing with nightmares. I would ALWAYS realize I could stop what was going on and then blink hard until I woke up. Sometimes I would actually realize it was a dream, but I could never do things that weren't logical or change anything. But now that I'm older, I never realize that I can stop things or that I'm dreaming anymore. ):
Almost every dream that I have (That I remember) is a layer zero major. I know something isn't right, and I almost always have a goal of leaving that dream. (Usually by waking up, but sometimes by entering a dream of waking up.) Sometimes, I realize I'm dreaming, but I've never been able to break logic. Any tips on how to do so?
I have only ever acheived zero minor dreaming. I like to browse YouTube before going to bed (like now), and i always have to shut it down in at about 2 am when the battery runs dry and I go back to bed and fall asleep. However, I will forget I shut down my laptop and fell asleep and will dream I am still browsing YouTube. Then, my laptop will vanish and I will wake up. I have to run my hand through the space where I thought my laptop was a few times before realizing I am dreaming. Just sharing.
thats funny a while ago i dreamed that i was in a lunch room watching a man teach people about lucid dreaming but after that i expierienced other thimgs in the dream.
Oh, so it was a layer 0 dream I was having... I knew I couldn't die, so I'd bash of zombies with my bare fists. I had no reset button, however. I was just superior to everything in my dream, and knew I was. Also, I had only a slight feeling that something wasn't quite right at the very ending.
@ReeceJones87 A friend of mine and I were talking about how we would sometimes get a random thought during the day to do something that would have normally harsh consequences but have a strong feeling that they wouldn't have any consequence things like hitting someone for no reason or dropping a pile of plates and breaking em' at work (I work as a dishwasher) and having to force ourselves not to so my question is has this ever happened to you and can level zero be applied to daydreams as well?
ahhh! when I was younger I remember waking myself up from a nightmare by blinking hard like that and opening eyes in real life! wow, that's awesome, I have been in layer zero major! :DDD I feel cool now
I remember when I was younger (before knowing what a lucid dream is) I would be dreaming and in the middle of the dream I would think to myself "This is a dream all I have to do is wake up" and I would open my eyes (in the real world) and go back to sleep a few minutes later. Could that be a level zero major?
i need help. i sometimes have great dreams and i remember most of it but there are parts that i dont remember. without these parts i cant fully write down the dream. what can i do to fix this?
I've had a lucid dream about 3 or 4 times that I can remember. But I've never had a lucid dream as a result of trying to. It would be a great thing to be able to achieve. Almost like having two lives.
Hey you seem pretty cool i really love to see others in the lucid dreaming feild are you an experienced Dreamwalker by any chance if you are i teach dreamwalking and have a website of my own you would find really cool.
I HAD A LEVEL ZERO LAST NIGHT! it was a weird inception type thing where it was a dream where i was learning to lucid dream, and in that dream i had a lucid dream but i actually wasn't lucid...
Dude I have the jumping or free faking motion I can't seem to with in my subconious take control and that is what I want to do make it and when u fall you jump as you sub can conect instantly with your brain do your body jumps and reality slows down unitl you hit the water or object
first id like to say your insight is extremely helpful to my recent interest in lucid dreaming, I also had a situation similar to the one of your childhood, I realized i was in a nightmare and as a escape route i threw my self down a flight of stairs and woke the second i hit the ground.
I had a lucid dream last night. It was a scary dream where I was on a bouncing castle type of thing. It was surrounded by a fence and there was a clown on the other side of it. I looked at my hands and feet and knew that I was having a dream but I kept going.
Everyone on the bouncing castle thing was bouncing around and then I bounced over it.
Knowing that I was in a dream I controlled what would happen. I bounced back from the clowns side to the castle.
in my first lucid dream i remember i was in the army kicking some raghead ass and i also had superpowers and shit and just when it was getting better with flying and all this i wake up. it only lasted like 15 min.
dis is kinda ironic i had ah lucid dream yesterday morning around the time my step dad goes ta work i thought he left the door open and i was on my stomache on the couch and i was screaming his name but all of ah sudden somebody was on my back and wouldnt get off but i thought it was real n it never ocured to me to ask who u r but i woke up and realized it was ah lucid dream so after i woke up i wrote it in my dream journal ....now aint tat ironic to some of your dreams
Layer Zero makes me feel stupid. I was researching how to become lucid, they said things such as, mirrors, digital watches/clocks//books/ect, could look distorted or different than normal. Well I was dreaming, and looked at a clock, looked like gibberish, later I looked in a mirror, and had JESUS HAIR! How could I not tell! :o made me sad.
i guess ive been on the blink of lucidity for a long time. i get that exact lingering sense of being in control of the dream, but only near the end of it..what does that mean
Hey is it possible to have a dream where you think you're having a lucid dream, but you aren't? Because I had a dream where I knew I was dreaming, but it didn't seem like what I was told a lucid dream would feel like.
@zTOOzBLACKz one time i was having a very bad dream where i was being chased and in the middle of running away, i became lucid. i turned around without fear and said who are u with authority. he was trying to beat around the bush and waving his arms around causing a commotion so that he wouldnt have to answer the question. when i saw he wasnt cooperating, i said with authority, put down ur hands, shut up, and listen. then i asked his name again nd he said do i have to tell u my name and he said
@NANDO218 how werid. I had a dream just like that. I was screaming at the guy asking him who he was. But when I asked him he seemed afraid I that I asked him who he was. Then in my dream I thought it was my ex boyfriend that got plastic surgery in order to trick me into liking him again. Then he finally told me his name was Down. I don't know anybody by that name. So I trusted him and trusted that he was not my ex. Then I was yelling at him again asking who he was. This kept happening till I..
@NANDO218 doing the same thing. Trust him then think he was my ex again. Then finally I became lucid because I realized that I would NEVER see my ex willing so it had to be a dream. Then I woke up. But I thought it was so funny that this guy looks nothing like my ex but I thought it was my ex in disguise trying to get me to fall in love or something. So he can lately come out and say... " Ha... so you do still like me" lol. But I would consider this a nightmare. Well anything with my ex is! lol
DUDE! When I was i child I would frequently have nightmares, and a purple hairy monster in my dream (yes i know, doesn't sound very scary, but I was around 4 at the time) surounded me with other little monsters and said "do you know your dreaming?" I said "I guess" "just blink three times to wake up." he said. ever since then when I'm in a nightmare, I just blink three times to get out! all thanks to the Furry Purple Monster!
I have a thing where I get into trouble with some sort of authority and I'm scared shitless then out of no where I realize oh I can just open my eyes without really knowing why I could do this. Just realized today I might be able to do this with sort of an ease. Also I have an older brother who told me he had a dream where he knew he was dreaming and created a ferarri and whatever else he wanted. That night I knew that I could control the dream and did so for a few days.
@ratm3413 i have dreams like that all the time! the whole getting into trouble thing... it's scary as shit. last time it happened, i wasn't really lucid, and when i woke up i was still scared that i was in trouble.. but then i realized i was in reality and i felt a huge weight off my shoulders annnd went back to sleep :P
One time whan I was having a dream, it turned into a video game (very similar to Deadly Premonitions) and I kept gatting killed by shadows and then I would suddenly be back where I started like it was a save point.
Also when I was ten I had not heard about lucid dreaming, but I noticed that something was weird. In the real world my grandfather had recently died but he was there in my dream. I remembered that he was dead and told him that he was dead, then he told me that I was dreaming.
@LostAllHope3 This isn't unusual. You didn't pose the question thoroughly enough. When you do reality checks during the day you have to really allow the possibility of something supernatural happening...
I had a nightmare once where these people were doing experiments on people and yada yada yada a lot of scary stuff happened but I knew i needed to escape, so I forced myself to dream of my friend to help me escape without knowing I created her. Also when we were running away from the experiments i couldn't run, it was like running in water but i knew if my feet touched the ground i couldn't run but i coundnt fly. So i didn't look at my feet and forced my surroundings to move faster
Yeah what helped me lucid dream is calea zacatechichi extract, gave me wonderful dreams and gave a nice relaxed feeling after I smoked the 10x extract off of ebay, its a good deal for only 5.79 a gram
interesting video. i had a dream where I was driving.i couldnt tell if i was dreaming or not and thought about driving off into the forest to see, but didnt want to take the risk.
careful ppl i sometimes have sleeping problems because i catch out unusual things in my dream and then just wake up. This can happen one to three times a night which is fkking annoying when i have to wake up early for school the next morning.
Would being able to "control" the dream to an extent, and always "know" you've got power over the people in the dream, but not actually hit conciousness and total control be what you consider zero major?
Press '6' ... then after his sentence is finished Press '7' ... then after his sentence is finished Press '8' ... then after his sentence is finished Press '9'
An extra one is Press '5' and after his sentence is finished Press '5' again and after his sentence is finished Press '5' again and after his sentence is finished Press '5' again and after his sentence is finished! LOL!
i just had a dream where I was in a play. In the play my character was like Robin Hood and I had to save a girl like Red Riding Hood. Only she was really in danger and really needed rescuing, but i couldn't let the audience know the reality of the situation but instead let them believe thay were watching a fantasy in their reality. So this was like a reality (the play) in a reality(the audience in my dreamworld) in a reality(life as i know it right now), and perhaps more i'm still unaware of...
left lucid dreams many years ago as there was nobody serious in this stuff. went into some yoga things but had problems 2 years ago when trying lsd and imagining a girl friend. that came after some months and had the same name and attitudes etc.. therefore just a thing to explain how this technique can developpe. logically there are just a few of us I am sure. if you get into problems, send some mail, still remember lots of techniques. have fun.
@jabbadoushky you are a killer! I reversed to the start and kept hold of 5 and laughed! and then I reversed again to the start and pressed 5 once and laughed harder!
the goal is not to have lucidity that is only the second step. The next step is find your energy body and cultivate its strength its like training for the afterlife
Is the book you mentioned seeing, your favorite and most recommended lucid dreaming book? If not, what is it? I had an almost identical experience with Adventures Beyond the Body by William Buhlman. Recommended to all!
ive had couple lucid dreams one i was out in front of some suburban house then this truck drove by and it was the most vivid thing ever i was damn this a dream i looked up and flew like superman
my channel provides a great technique with which you will become lucid the same night! actually it is a tune which you will listen before going to sleep and the same night you will be come lucid! enjoy!
i had a dream where i was running, not from anyone, but just running, like parkour. but i stopped by a building near a dock and suddenly i said to myself "i'm in a dream" without any signs or anything to give any clues. of course i woke up shortly after but was a bit weird to have the thought pop into my mind during the dream.
another one i had was when i was able to change the names of the characters which i spoke with, but never became fully lucid.
hmmm you actually read something that complicated in a dream ...props dude. I couple of days ago I was walking down the street looking at signs go by saying:you are dreaming, realize that you are dreaming, reality check. I was just walking all humpty dumpty like hmmm those are some nice signs. Then I woke up and I was like crap!!! (The actually words were a little more jumbled than i make them seem though)
wow... only until after I watched this video did I realize I was at layer 0 major last night and even just a couple nights ago... I'm really excited to learn how to lucid dream!
ok i hade this weird dream and i dont know if its a layer zero or not so i dreamt that i was having a lucid dream and i talked to my sub concious personified as a person i tried to lucid dream 2 times in the dream 1st time i failed and the second time i prevailed and i even did a reality check in the while i was having a lucid dream in a dream
ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS??? this is weird! i also dream that i have i reset button right on my on the same place! well... thats mostly because mine is inside out and i press it constantly, but still, what a coincidence...
I think that talking to someone about lucidity in a dream is universal. I think you dream this because you spend so much of your waking time thinking about lucidity. If I were to have a non-lucid dream, and talking to someone about something it would probably be about music. The layer theory definetly has some good content, but there are some things that don't check through.
i dreamed the other night that i was in space and that i was bending time and space with music it was so awsome i was jumping from points to points and the space
i dont know if it was lucid but i remember it , and i manage to remember most of my dreams, im gonna try to lucid dream :D
i wasnt sure what to do after i knew that i was dreaming. i had already planned out what i wanted to do before i even went to sleep, but i wasnt sure how to get in control of the dream after i knew i was dreaming. any pointers??
i had my first lucid dreaming experience last night since i have started doing the techniques that u have explained, i did have a few problems that happened though that could have made it a real great dream.
what happened in the dream was that i won a brand new hummer which i realized was too good to be true so i did the nose-plug reality check and wouldnt you know it, it worked and i learned that i was dreaming.
Here's where i ran into some problems though. (cont.d)
Hey man, Just wondering. Does the zero level include a very foggy and hazy and faded awareness? That's how I could describe last night, I don't remember any of the dream but I think I might have experienced a level zero. Thanks
the best way i got to lucid dream was trying calea zacatechichi- the dream herb- 10x extract off of ebay. great price only $6/ a gram and free shipping and it lasts for like 5 nights- extract is way better than the plain herb which tastes awful- i luv this stuff gives me wonderful dreams evry time
last night i had a dream but i cant recall if i knew in the dream if i knew it was a dream...int the back of my head i feel like i knew i was dreaming but couldn't control my dreaming. Any help with that?
i've had dreams where i've realised i was dreaming then i started being able to do what i want, but i always end up getting woken up by someone >:( or the other day i got woken up by a really bad itch while i was in the middle of getting off with some dream girl, also when i was younger i had a dream where i flew and only remembered a couple of months later but i thought it had been real so i thought i could fly, but then i realised it was only a dream.
I have had that same experience when i was younger. A few times when i would have a nightmare (although not aware i was dreaming) I would do the same thing close down real hard on my eyes almost like im reaching out to my outer body and then open them very fast and i would open them and be awake. it was almost like my dream body reached out and took hold of my sleeping body and controlled it to wake up. Thats amazing that at that time never even hearing about anyone done that you 2 have done it
The obvious sign for me was a very blatent gap in logical though. One minute i was somewhere - the next i was somewhere else. And my mind had been sloppy in clearing up the last 'scene' of my dream to make me forget. So i remembered, and boom. Up i flew. Although flying is piss hard. Am yet to try again.
Good video. It was a Layer Zero type dream that got me back into Lucid Dreaming 4 days ago although it wasn't about lucid dream. It was about metaphysics books. 4 days later with some work I had a lucid dream first time in hears. I've had these dreams before so I think these dreams are dreams of those trying to get someone more aware about the powers of their soul.
i think that i've experienced a 2 layer dream but it wasn't lucid dreaming. i had this dream where i had lost something and then in my dream i thought back of the previous events that had happened prior to losing that object and in the end i found it. so in a way i was logically thinking in my dream. cause you know how when you're in the first layer of dreaming, you're just watching the whole thing like a movie but i was actually logically thinking in my dream to solve something.
Dreams are like a training ground for what will come next when our physical bodies die hence the reason it is important to stay creative. Swimming is one of few things i find difficult in dreams, i can fly, fight as a ninja, shoot some kind of power with my hands, but it all runs out eventually during the dream, its like a teaser. If i know im dreaming i usually go looking for sex or try making things happen using my dream state of mind. Not long ago i ejaculated properly from a dream! im 24lol

I have reached being aware that all characters are not real and it is a dream, but I can't manager to control all the characters. I have reached being a movie director in my dream...I know that I am dreaming, but the question is...Is luicd dreaming about control....??
Hey my names stetson and i just started watching your videos and i am thoroughly intrigued, i cannot wait to start my dream journal and get on with lucid dreaming. I once had a completely lucid dream a few years ago, but not one since. Is there any explanation behind this??

I think i've had two layer zero (major) dreams, I'm not sure though.
One was a dream that I was with a couple friends in a theme park and we were being chased by zombies. We got together after a while of running and tried to come up with a plan to escape. The last thing I remember saying is "If it doesn't work, we'll be fine cause it's just a dream." But i didn't reach lucidity.
Layer Zero (Major) is me, i committed a crime in my dream and i was fearing the repercussions and i said to myself "this has to be a dream", my mind was racing, i decided since it was a nightmare that i would kill myself to get out of the dream. I then later concluded that *IF* the dream was real, i would be killing myself for real, and decided against it.
Wow. You have incredibly interesting inputs on this topic. Your videos have definitely opened my mind and it me thinkin'. You're my number 2 inspiration (next to Inception xD) to become lucid. Keep the videos coming! I love hearing what you have to say.
dude oure videos are really intersting , and you are a very good ¨teacher¨
i would like to know if you could help me with my case:
so i learned alot about lucid dreaming so i got my dream journal and make reality checks , plus digg in all lucid dreams forums vids etc, its been almost a month since i began trying, and i would like to know in your pinion how much progress ive made :p
I have a question for anyone who knows the answer. First off, you should know I take a 25 mg pill of stratera at 7:00 AM and a 5 mg pill of ridolin at 4:00 PM, when I get home from school for my ADD medication. At night, I take 1 to 3 10 mg pills of melatonin. Here's my question: does the usage of melatonin aid, impede, or not affect the occurance of lucidity? Thanks for the help anyone!
@pelicansurF123 I was actually asking that question on another one of his videos. I think the answer is yes, because I have never had lucid dreams before i started taking melatonin. I wasnt even aware of the techniques of becoming lucid when it happened, it just simply happened. It wasnt till after my first lucid dream that i started reading up on it. Melatonin makes your dreams more vivid, which is most likely why it is easier to become lucid, because the strange things become more obvious.
@pelicansurF123 The usage of any drug will impede lucid dreaming in my experience. Some people do not agree, but I belive that any ADD medication should be avoided.
Oh wow, when I was a little kid I used to have Zero Majors all the time then. Because I used to dream and have no clue I was dreaming, and just what you said happened. If something I didn't want to happen happened or the like I'd just blink really hard and then open my eyes and I'd be awake. Same sort of thing happened in dreams when I wanted to create something even though I wasn't lucid, like lets say I wanted to teleport to the store, I blinked down really hard and said "I wish I was there."
I often have dreams where someone else will tell me its a dream or say that i am about to be in a horrible nightmare and what will be done to me but i never become lucid from this, i just say ok and continue
In a dream last night I was in my Biology Class and I was thinking to myself that I could not remeber the last 10 minutes. (I have been doing regular reaility checks) However I did not fully grasp what this means so the dream continued....very strange.
most common "layer" that occurs to me in most of my dreams is Zero layer. when I wake up I always realize that I was aware of my choices and the way I made these choices, so they were in a sense lucid but sort of a gently lucid :D heh :) love your videos ;)
i had a dream were i was running or somthing active and in my mind in the dream i remeberd that i wacthed a vid on lucid dreaming and i realized im dreaming so i wanted to fly but it didnt work is this like anthor layer or what?
@ShowmenTv Its not another layer, its just your disbelief. You naturally don't believe that you have the ability to fly because from every day experience, you know that flying isn't possible. In my first lucid dream i was able to fly because i have done lots of research and i knew and truly believed it was possible to do so.
Dude.. i really hate it when i wake my self up due to excitement when i realize when i'm dreaming. And i know it's because of my freak dream sign. Sounds funny but i always realize that i'm dreaming when i'm dreaming that i'm having sex. xD Last night i was dreaming that a girl is giving me a you know what then fucking realize that i'm dreaming then woke my self up due to excitement. first id like to say your insight is extremely helpful to my recent interest in lucid dreaming, I also had a situation similar to the one of your childhood, I realized i was in a nightmare and as a escape route i threw my self down a flight of stairs and woke the second i hit the ground.
FollowTheSunDown 5 months ago
I had a lucid dream last night. It was a scary dream where I was on a bouncing castle type of thing. It was surrounded by a fence and there was a clown on the other side of it. I looked at my hands and feet and knew that I was having a dream but I kept going.
Everyone on the bouncing castle thing was bouncing around and then I bounced over it.
Knowing that I was in a dream I controlled what would happen. I bounced back from the clowns side to the castle.

StaceyValles 6 months ago
@NANDO218 doing the same thing. Trust him then think he was my ex again. Then finally I became lucid because I realized that I would NEVER see my ex willing so it had to be a dream. Then I woke up. But I thought it was so funny that this guy looks nothing like my ex but I thought it was my ex in disguise trying to get me to fall in love or something. So he can lately come out and say... " Ha... so you do still like me" lol. But I would consider this a nightmare. Well anything with my ex is! lol

I said "I guess" "just blink three times to wake up." he said. ever since then when I'm in a nightmare, I just blink three times to get out! all thanks to the Furry Purple Monster!

Just realized today I might be able to do this with sort of an ease.
I remembered that he was dead and told him that he was dead, then he told me that I was dreaming.

i just had a dream where I was in a play. In the play my character was like Robin Hood and I had to save a girl like Red Riding Hood. Only she was really in danger and really needed rescuing, but i couldn't let the audience know the reality of the situation but instead let them believe thay were watching a fantasy in their reality. So this was like a reality (the play) in a reality(the audience in my dreamworld) in a reality(life as i know it right now), and perhaps more i'm still unaware of...

i had a dream where i was running, not from anyone, but just running, like parkour. but i stopped by a building near a dock and suddenly i said to myself "i'm in a dream" without any signs or anything to give any clues. of course i woke up shortly after but was a bit weird to have the thought pop into my mind during the dream.
another one i had was when i was able to change the names of the characters which i spoke with, but never became fully lucid.

I think that talking to someone about lucidity in a dream is universal. I think you dream this because you spend so much of your waking time thinking about lucidity. If I were to have a non-lucid dream, and talking to someone about something it would probably be about music. The layer theory definetly has some good content, but there are some things that don't check through.

i had my first lucid dreaming experience last night since i have started doing the techniques that u have explained, i did have a few problems that happened though that could have made it a real great dream.
what happened in the dream was that i won a brand new hummer which i realized was too good to be true so i did the nose-plug reality check and wouldnt you know it, it worked and i learned that i was dreaming.

I've had these dreams before so I think these dreams are dreams of those trying to get someone more aware about the powers of their soul.
goldragons 1 year ago
i think that i've experienced a 2 layer dream but it wasn't lucid dreaming. i had this dream where i had lost something and then in my dream i thought back of the previous events that had happened prior to losing that object and in the end i found it. so in a way i was logically thinking in my dream. cause you know how when you're in the first layer of dreaming, you're just watching the whole thing like a movie but i was actually logically thinking in my dream to solve something.

Not long ago i ejaculated properly from a dream! im 24lol

Is this a layer zero (major)?
1976GibsonExplorer 1 year ago
Layer Zero (Major) is me, i committed a crime in my dream and i was fearing the repercussions and i said to myself "this has to be a dream", my mind was racing, i decided since it was a nightmare that i would kill myself to get out of the dream. I then later concluded that *IF* the dream was real, i would be killing myself for real, and decided against it.
Made me SO mad.

Thanks for the help anyone!
pelicansurF123 1 year ago
@pelicansurF123 I was actually asking that question on another one of his videos. I think the answer is yes, because I have never had lucid dreams before i started taking melatonin. I wasnt even aware of the techniques of becoming lucid when it happened, it just simply happened. It wasnt till after my first lucid dream that i started reading up on it. Melatonin makes your dreams more vivid, which is most likely why it is easier to become lucid, because the strange things become more obvious.
Tb0neZ5 1 year ago

@ShowmenTv Its not another layer, its just your disbelief. You naturally don't believe that you have the ability to fly because from every day experience, you know that flying isn't possible. In my first lucid dream i was able to fly because i have done lots of research and i knew and truly believed it was possible to do so.
