@BlueBMX2 It is not true dual. No headers either, just comes from exhaust manifold into a single pipe with a cat delete, then goes into a single mangaflow muffler with two outputs.

Different depending on the year and fuel injection.

This one was the L69 5.0 305 HO 4bbl. 190 stock i believe.

@Dogfrost9 L69? Do you still have the RPO sticker in the center console? Best part about this car is the 5-speed, and only down side is that 1986 was the single year that GM experimented with a different de-tuned emissions cam design that was a huge disappointment in performance. If you can find a factory 1990 G92 optioned 5-speed car and snatch the cam and install it in your car, it would make about 20hp more.

@dwad1skrubz GM produced many different version 5.0 liter 305 engines... ranging from not much over 100hp, on up to the G92 optioned LB9 TPI motors that produced 230hp

I will have to upload video of my car soon. It has a 350 HO Crate Engine. I used to own a 1990 Camaro but, sold it for the 1976...it's my daily driver. I'd like to garage it and build it crazy and use the 3rd Gen IROC or Z28 as my daily driver but, who knows.

Nice - finally someone not slapping chrome anchors to their camaro. that was a nice model. My best bro in highschool ~'95 had an '86 just like that, same wheels, same exhaust tips as you...cept his was an A/T. But for it's time, his car was seriously quick.

Its stock, and its relatively stiff. Perhaps they are adjustable somehow but I dont know. In my experience the newer the vehicle the easier the clutch is to press.

i bought a black 86 iroc for $2000 and im fixing it up, kind of bummed when i took out the spare tire and realized the right rear fender had been badly repaired from an accident but other than that it just needs the usual headliner, heater core, etc type stuff

whyd you sell yours after getting it so nice? cash for another project or just didnt like it?

@killjoybacon Magnaflow Exhaust, Dont' know what the specifics are. It is just a single Large Muffler that sits sideways with one inlet and two outlets.

Was already on the car when I got it so I'm really not sure how much it would cost.

@killjoybacon I bought the Car for $2700. At that point it had quite a bit of rust along rear wheel wells, and a few spots of through rust in the fenders, and also a lot of rust on the underbody. I sandblasted the entire underbody and Ruber Coated it, then Fixed all of the rust anywhere else on the car, then Repainted the entire Car black which was its original color anyways. After all of that I sold the car for $5000. I would estimate that I got around 17 mpg.  Was a Fun car to drive

on ebay search "82 92 louvers" and you should find them. 82 92 so you only get third gen results.

Is this tpi? I didn't know they made manual IROC's in 86. I have an 86 IROC z tpi with an auto. I put on a full dynomax exhaust but it sounds like a stock exhaust to me...

@huntergluck It is not Tuned Port. 86 was the Last year for the L69 5.0 305 High Output 4bbl and that's what this car has.

They definitely made some manual Iroc's in 86, None with 350's though. infact I dont think they EVER made a manual third-gen Camaro with a 350.

I was told that the 305 was crap by some camaro guys at my school, I personally drive a 86 Iroc with a 305 and I love it, is this a good motor for the car to beat the 'stangs up here?

Nothing wrong with the 305's. Sound just as good and slightly better mileage. But if your looking for power or want to mod the engine the 350 is better.

My first camaro was a white 91 rs with 305. Auto tranny. Not a bad car at all, definitely like stick shifts better though.

Thanks, a few of the interior components were that stupid red/orange color when I bought the car (including some of the dash components) Was in process of making them black again. As can be seen in video, the door handle molds were still in need of attention.

And yes, the stock 16" Iroc rims are the best rims for these cars hands down.

I punched out my cat and i found it made it a lot louder but not really in a good way. I think im going to put a pipe through it. We have emissions cops driving around. Your car sounds great though. I just did a T56 in mine.

i put one of these on my 91 rs 305tbi with flo tech shorties with y pipe to a magnaflow high flow cat and a magnaflow exhaust and it sounds stock!! did yours do this when you first got it done?

Especially If you have headers on your camaro.

Just the stock exhaust manifold on this car, if it had headers it would sound even better. I did remove the catalytic converter tho.
