  • Tony Robbins is a BEAST! Powerful Stuff!

  • Who did the guy play who bought and sold the dog in rocky?

  • videos like this make youtube what it is today

  • 1 freakin minute this many veiws!!!!!!!!1

  • the one thing you can do for others is the manage your own life. And do it with conviction.

  • 1:13 HA!

  • Everyone wants to believe they can change the world. Only a very few can.

  • I have a question which arguably could be applied to any society throughout history. Why do some people hero worship and spend thousands to be told essentially nothing by obvious mountebanks like Tony Robbins or the Scientology racket when others become sucessful without being manipulated by LGATs? Beware attending his seminars, you will be hypnotised and regressed then forced to sign up to Mastery University; three seminars costing over $20,000 which is non-refundable despite what he says

  • @CharlotteElliot You're so full of Shit! I went to 2 of his seminars and never spent $20,000 dollars and it changed my entire life... I now work for myself doing what I absolutely love! I am finally happy for the first time in my entire life! It took time, work and effort, but I am here and I did it! Tony Changed my life for the better by far!

It's up to you! You have to take the teachings and tools and apply, apply and apply until you get there! And keep learning, growing!!!

  • @CharlotteElliot If what I have right now would have cost me $20,000, it would have been well worth everything now!!! I thank Tony Robbins and people like him who support me and others who need help! Maybe you don't, but I bet if I met you, you are not happy and don't have a clear understanding of the bigger picture and are not even moving towards living the life of your dreams, but blaming fate! You can still get back up and make your real dreams come true! It's up to you!

  • wow

  • Hey Tony..Rocky WAS inspired by the REAL Rocky...CHUCK WEPNER!! Who did he shop the movie to..FIRST?? Don King! Wepners trainer/cutman?? My Uncle!

  • My son has to go to the library, too, since he can't pay his internet bill either.

  • Are you able to pay my son's bills? He refuses to work unless he gets exactly what he wants so he refused his last offer, and now is 3 months behind in rent and getting evicted. If you did not mean that, can you email me so I can forward it to him? Thanks!

  • @bernadettestar

Your plan "B" attitude is a huge problem. People don't become motivated to do what they REALLY want to do until they face the prospect of death. When your son is hungry, homeless and tired...only THEN will his mind focus into an unrelenting force that will not stop for the rest of his life....that is of course...unless you bail him out because you're scared of 2 things...1. The way this makes YOU look as a parent (which is pointless) and 2. He possibly succeeds more than you.

  • thankyou SO MUCH for posting this xxxxx

  • good story but.. what makes no sense about this story is lords of flat bush was way before this whole rocky event, did he make no money for a staring roll. The Lords of Flatbush is a 1974 American drama film about a street gang in leather jackets from the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York

  • @swordandkeyboard Good point! I was sitting here trying to remember the name of that movie. I think that was his (sly) first movie and starring role.

  • You can actually use software that allows you to enter your goals, then allows you to follow yor progress.

  • Truly Inspiring he is a great man.

  • Comment removed

  • I think, therefore I AM! That's what Sly did, look at him now! Let's do the same people! LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!

  • amazing story

  • This is a great story.

  • STOP 2.25

AT THIS POINT I AM THE MOST DRIVEN IVE BEEN SINCE I WATCHED THE LAST 2 TAKES OF THE TRAINING SCENE IN ROCKY 1

SLOW TO FAST AND THE STEPS

  • Who ever wrote the theme music to ROCKY should be a multi-millionare as well!

  • @Famfriass i think either he did or his brother Frank did

  • wow he really is rocky :D, great upload

  • I cried as well...I lost my favorite dog and have never really gotten over it. It was the best fighting dog I've ever had. When the cops came, we had to get out of there in a hurry and somehow, the cage didn't get latched and when I got home, I discovered the dog was gone. I went back to the area, called and called for Sparky...but he didn't come. I love that dog. If you see Sparky, please post here and let me know.

  • @moejeffreys Let's get this straight. Your dog was the "best fighting dog" you ever had. Do you mean that you put your dog into fights? Clarify.

  • Clarify what?

  • @bumblebeemoi Read it again; Did you put your dog into fights? Clarify what a "fighting dog" is.

  • this is exactly what i needed to hear... i have a dream to be a successful trader everybody keeps discouraging me. i was seriously considering giving up until i heard this.

  • @applesaucebiatch Just so you know, I'm aspiring to be a great trader as well. From a trader to a trader. I tell you that i have that same problem as you. Everyone around us is just so cynical. Friend, we must stick to our dreams and persist because someday, you and I both know that if we persevere long enough, we'll succeed . Good trading Bro ;) .

  • @applesaucebiatch I am a trader as well and share your dream. It's best not to talk about the market with regular people as they are all naysayers and will only envy your eventual success. They will call it "luck". And if you lose will say "you deserved it" for "gambling". Jesse Livermore speaks of this in Remin./Stock Operator. Good Book .Read it. Don't give away your power and energy through speech. Save and harness it inside yourself.Study, practice and keep the faith.

  • @applesaucebiatch - Keep going. I've been so disillusioned by trading in the past but one day it all clicks into place. You'll get there but it's a good idea to hold a job until you do. All the best - James.

  • @applesaucebiatch

dont give up mate, never listen to the nay sayers. they only say give up as they are scared to take risks them selves and dont want u too succeed

  • @11misslee theyre what you call "crabs in a bucket" try looking it up.

  • @anh721

    what does it mean?

  • @11misslee

i see that a well good phrase i like that one. plenty of them about

  • @applesaucebiatch "You want something, go get it. Period"

  • his real what??? I couldnt hear

  • I LOVE Tony Robbins JE IS THE REAL ROCKY

  • Wow! Amazing story! ROCKY!!!

  • As the story goes, a broke Stallone refused ever larger sums of money (that he desperately needed) to sell the highly valued script because he insisted—against studio wishes—that he play the lead role. The studio wanted a name star. According to the legend, the studio finally relented by paying Stallone a modest $18,000 for the script. It was revealed years later that this story was largely made up, a marketing gimmick concocted by the studio to reinforce the underdog theme of the film.

  • @thespeechwriter I believe at least most of this story, or else how did stalone, a no name actor, get the part? I'll admit it COULD be a marketing scheme, but the facts are 1. stalone wrote the script 2. he starred in his own movie 3. he was a no name actor. So for it to be a lie either the marketing bastards saw that he was good for his own role and lied about it, or stalone was passing out some mean bjs.

  • Respect for both Tony and Silvester Sylvester.

They are really inspiring and motivating.

  • @verapamil07 Respect!

  • and i asked if he would like a ride to the starters shed . He looked at me and said , do i look like i need a ride i will walk which is something your fat a as s looks like it needs to do. This is the first time i met my idol and the reason i started working out. Needless to say i now hate the man he is rude and very degrading to lots of people. I am now in as good as shape as when i was younger since i have recovered from my back injury . He is a prick to everyone do not believe his sad stories

  • @dcmedic4571 Sounds like he did you a huge favor. He inspired you through positive motivation to get off your butt and into action. I too have met Sly and he speaks his mind. It take a person with a backbone you can see from the front to hang with Sly. The world aint all sunshine and rainbows...

  • Let me tell you the truth about Sylvester Stallone I completely Idolized him as a kid . I started working out because of him and by the time I was 17 i was in incredible shape , all because i wanted to be strong like him. Fast forward to me 32 I am a paramedic I broke my back on a call and was bed ridden for 9 months as a result i gained about 70 pounds. My friend hooked me up with a job at Riviera Country Club handling medical problems on the golf course . One day i saw Sly in the parking lot

  • yo Adrian!

  • So, who is the "guy" that bought his dog for $25 and eventually sold it back, landing him a spot in the movie?

  • @shawneesideup There's supposedly some guy who is sweeping up in the movie (an extra i guess). Stallone asks him, "What did you do with the stuff in my locker?" That's the guy who bought Stallone's dog. His name is Mike. Don't know his last name.

  • So, who is the "guy" that bought his dog for $25 and eventually sold it back, landing him a spot in the movie?

  • realization of dreams is a prime motivator of all humanity...you cant stop it no matter what the outcomes are. there are many examples to prove that this is so and always will be so, until i imagine God comes for his world. meanwhile, we have to make the best of it down here...all dreams are not the same, all people not the same and tragically some results will always be sadder than others.

  • Not pretty awesome.. sounds like a rat race to me... I am all about people pursuing their life dreams, but to ruin one's life completely and the lives of people around him too sounds pretty irresponsible to me.. One can still pursue one's dreams and live a respectful, sustainable and authentic life. Imagine the amount of people out there now trying to do this and failing because the "american dream" works for only a handful people...

  • @mcmbook The point of the story is to show an example of how determination pays off. Not to go out and destroy your life in pursute of some unabtainable goal. This is just an extreme example of this. Also who's life did he ruin? the only repercussion was his wife leaving him.

  • @ronnieraccoon1977 yah totally and I agree with that part `100%. The part that gets me is when one uses an example where the "end result" is fame and fortune. And that - is quite and unattainable goal as it's just not the reality. That way, people chase the carrot and only a few get it. If the story revolved around the goal of creating community, connection with loved ones, then I'd be much more on board.

  • "The greatest revenge is massive success." INDEED!! I totally agree.

  • It's cute how, with a bazillion dollars and loved the world over, Tony STILL needs to work in, "Sly is a good friend of mine", like a kid....

  • This story is so very amazing to me. Thank you for sharing!!!!!!

  • sooo freaking awesome! cant believe its real !!!! so awesome

  • WHO IS THIS GUY WHO GOT THE DOGGY AND PLAYED IN THE MOVIE????

  • Keep moving towards the #Light ~ your :Dreams are ahead; your shadow is behind you! 0 :- )

  • i really wanna know who the guy that sold back the dog played in the movie!!!

  • yes, u r right success is the biggest revenge

  • that is the best thing i have ever heard in my life

  • Such a life changing story. I"m glad and fortunate to be able to hear stories like this from Tony Robbins and Sly Stallone. This can really change people in A GOOD WAY!

  • If this is true and people argue that Wikipedia is wrong and you can easily change it yourself, prove it. Change Wikipedia to say this information.

  • THERE IS NO FEAR ONLY POWER!

  • So he never bought back the dog, his best friend huh?

  • @Metatronicus Forgot i ever said anything

  • You must not have listened to the end, he did buy back the dog....

  • @roncorkern yes , i was to quick to judge, my bad. Lesson learned :)

  • THERE IS NO FEAR ONLY POWER!

  • Latin bridals here **busizz4me.info**

  • I've been fall in LOVE with you Anthony robbins in about 8y. ago.

I've been out of my very abusive relationship after 33y. just because of you. I've learned dramatacly from you.

    Appreciate you very much.

  • @mondibrad

rocky got me of the couch and motivated me to run a marathon (42.2km)

  • Really hard to believe that the guy would not sell back the dog for $1000

  • rocky has the personality of a rock (strong, enthusiastic, hardworking)n as pleaver has said" he deserves all his success)............he's one of the most influential person i've ever seen in ma life..rockY ur the besT of the besT!!!

  • whatever is in your heart to do , never give uo trying to do it . that's what i just learned . your time will come to get things done . it will get done but by you . but don't forget to give the credit for the will to do it to God the Father in heaven . he's the one who will make you a success .

  • this is what I call "Life Lived'

  • your link (in your comments) has nothing to do with Tony Robbins. Thank you for misrepresenting.

  • Holy shit, I hav a nw hero.

  • love this story, tony robbins is awesome ,and so is sylvester stallone.. thanku so much for sharing this...

  • The Untold Story: “Rocky” Underdog Origin a Studio Myth

  • What a fucking lunatic!

    Respect. : )

  • This goes to show to never give up on dreams.Always reach for the top because the bottom is overcrowded!!!

  • if that is real story its amzing

  • Tony is a master at what he does!

  • Way to go Stallone! Amazing story!

  • So, he basically told himself, "I want what I want, if I have to freeze and starve to death to get it." Nachos grandes. ;])

  • I watch this vid almost every month. I am still looking for a job, for months, but you gotta keep putting yourself out there. On my channel, I am also trying to be empowering like Tony Robbins, my idol.

  • awsome video tells how the movie rocky was made

  • its funny how the dog guy had to be negotiated like sly had to by the producers

  • wow.. just saw this vid on burntheships org

    its an amazing story

  • I wonder who in the movie is the guy he sold his dog too...

  • Comment removed

  • @borednarabota : Burt Young, Rocky's annoying brother-in-law. I LOVE it! ;])

  • Sly- you are the man.

  • I loved this... then I realized it seemed *too* good of a story. Check the story from the movie producers side. Look it up on wikipedia, it was a PR stunt.

  • @standstrongtv So who do you believe? The guy with the success on the movie producers that never saw it in him, or should I say wikipedia? Why does everyone believe wikipedia, I can write something in there now.

  • @RssMMA I hope you are right. But it seems like a classic PR move someone like Edward Bernays would have been proud of.

  • so umm... wich part did he get?

  • @MiksMaTaunOlema , yeah i wanna know what part he got too!

  • is this OnlyUsemeBlade talking?

  • wow! im sitting here in tears that he got his dog back!!! never ever ever give up on your dreams people!!!

you can have the life you want!

this is also a turning point for me!

  • @NoosesGive What's your dream?

  • This was the SINGLE GREATEST story I have ever heard. The wife that leaves him because she thinks he is a loser? That GUY IS ME. He had a dream, and SO DO I. This story was the TURNING POINT FOR ME. No doubt about it, not one SHRED OF DOUBT. I lost everything I owned, but I got to KEEP MY TWO DOGS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME!!!!!!!!!

  • Know your "OUTCOME AND WHY YOU WANT IT." Great story to understand what these two statements mean in practical application.

  • sly tells his story on the special features on the rocky DVD's, however Tony sells its much better

  • I quite my job and entered hell on earth. But now I am finding a determination to succeed on a massive scale that I didn't quite have when I had my cushy job. I can relate. I would not recommend anyone do what I did unless they are sure they have the right stuff. Massive, and smart action can lead to greatness. Sly Rocked it, and is still rocking it.

  • Sly Rocks. I can relate to his fear of being trapped by a day job. I myself quite a great union job with 4 weeks paid vacation a year. I burned that bridge and made my life a living hell. Now I have no choice but to succeed. If I ever had any doubt I could and would get paid to be a director, I now have no choice to believe 100% that I will believe. And my excitement and passion for what I love has multiplied by a 1000%. The biggest lesson is to take massive action with unwavering certainty.

  • @antpedroto I remember reading this story about where the expression *burn the bridge came from*

it was these 100 warriors that were about to take on an island of about 1000!!! and the leader burned all the boats that they arrived on!

so that they had no choice but to succeed!

    and they won the battle!!

    hang in there! :)

  • ive seen tony retell this story a few times! =)

i love rocky so i was all ears!!!

"the greatest revenge is massive success" -s.stallone, t.robbins

  • I never knew all Sylvester Stallone went through to make it!! All I can say about it is WOW!! What a story!! Rocky was not just a movie, it's the story of his life. I always thought the movie was inspiring, but now it's even more meaningful to me!! Thanks for sharing!!

    Excited About Changing Lives,

Ivan Harris, Sr. "The Value Creator"

  • Good story Tony, but Sylvester did not write the script in 20 hours! He wrote basically the outline of the story (what the story is about), not the entire ROCKY script! I have the videos of Stallone himself talking about it to back up what I'm saying!

Stallone has always been a huge inspiration to me, to go after what ever I decided I wanted to do in life!

  • i had no idea about this story.

stallone showed some real sack man. what a stud.

  • How inspiring!!! Doubt your Doubts ChaseYour Dreams!!!

  • This is great; never give up is right. I saw the movie and loved it!!!!

  • Amazing story. Nothing can ever replace failure if you quit. Pushing through the

    Hardship you will percevier!

  • i LOVE STALLONE.........AS AL PACINO...I KNOW WHAT WHAT THEY WENT THROUGH.....LUCKY DOG///REAL MAN!MARTHEN LUTHER KING..NELSON MANDELA....HARDSHIP TURNED 2 SUCCSESS..AND DIGNATY!PINA.MALTA.

  • Steely resolve of a Champion! Got Stallone out of himself; got Stallone to think about how he could touch other people; not worry about himself so much....wowWowWOW!! When Mountains are in your way, the Mountains are just going to have to move! The power of the "Will", and "Spirit" residing in you, CAN move those Mountains! The Angels are with you! Chance 0 :- )

  • Rocky is my all time favourite movie! This is a great story and well said by Tony robins what everyone should get out of this story is that you should never give up pursuing your dream and don't let know hold you back!

  • Very inspirational.

  • This man really inspires me to become a better person. I'm happy to find this online site where I can view him delivering his speech, visit LifeStyleFreedomClub(dot)c0m

  • Um he did 13 movies before Rocky so ummmm the foundation of this story isn't even true.

  • @summergiles: All of the movies were him as extras or bit parts. Being an extra doesn't pay shit. Most people just do it as an attempt to get a bigger role.

  • WOW!! brought a tear to my eye. Sly is amazing! Goes to show positive mental attitude will overcome everything.

  • Good video to keep on tracks from for your goals

  • Incredible I am speechless what a guy Stallone is real champion period!

  • Wonder what was going on in Burt's head? " Geez I'm Lonely. I really wish I had a dog or something. A starring role in an award winning blockbuster would'nt be bad either. Ah, to hell with it! I'm going to the liquor store."

  • Thanks for the lesson. Intense, passionate and unforgivably maddening And I love this line. The greatest revenge is massive success Rocky a.k.a. Sylvester Stallone.

  • Awesome story told by Anthony Robbins, with lots of insight into Sly Stallone & little known trivia. Inspiring!
