  • @11b288m Keep at it. I haven't seen this BS in the Guard, and I'm grateful for it. If you want a fellow soldier to help you address the issue, let me know.

  • If you are in the US military then Christ rejects you.......because Americans are confusing Jesus for Mithras who was the Roman Legions god and America is the direct reincarnation of old Rome....Revelation 13 and the second beast, the US, is built in the image of the first Beast IE Rome & its subsequent abhorrent 'Holy Roman Empire'. "Live by the sword & die by the sword"- "Blessed is the peacemaker"

  • So what's your explanation of the Fort Hood shooting? I don't know of any Christians shooting up military bases.

  • @StoogeWatcher What reason would Christians have for shooting up military bases? The senior command of the base IS Christian. I doubt Maj. Malik would shoot up a Muslim base. I am neutral as to which is the "right" religion. However, it is sad that any religion feels a need to employ military might to spread its message. At least that is my opinion.

  • I'm sure Mikey Weinstein and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation saw nothing wrong with Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan practicing his religious beliefs!!!

  • @jetplane002 Oh right, I'm sure Mike Weinstein smiled with glee after the Fort Hood shootings /facepalm. Don't be an idiot. Are you on the defensive because you're a Christian and it tends to be Christians in the military treading on the rights of others? Also, most people that make complaints at the MRFF are Christians...although, your blind ideology doesn't allow for facts.

  • ....and some people wonder why we worry about our important yet often frightening neighbours to the south. The United States is truly a bi-polar nation. It has provided the world much good but holy shit this scares me.

I'm with you on the curious absence of any media exposure. Unless you just made the hole thing up of course. :)

    Great find Dale.

  • It definitely is true. Check out their website. It's legit.

  • I'm a soldier of the Jewish faith, and last October I put in for a pass to celebrate a Jewish Holy Day. The chaplains office sent out a Memorandum in reference to the Holy day. The pass was denied, stating that we had a range to go to. It was a non-mission critical range.

  • Due to the restrictions of the Jewish Holy days, I was made to walk, not fire, watch others shoot, for 2 days. I had to go on sick call due to the blisters and blood blisters on my feet. I was given a profile for sit down duty only, no running, rucking (Backpacking), Jumping (Airborne operations). I have over 15 years of service to this wonderful country, and to see this, and experience this sort of treatment is a sad disturbing shame. Am I not also fighting for American Freedoms?

  • Thank you for your courage and fighting to keep us safe. I pledge to do whatever I can to help.

  • I had gotten into the habit of referring to Patreus as "General Betrayus" long before i was aware of the remarks quoted here. Guess now I know how he came to make such brain-dead military decisions.

  • If we make this a holy war, a new crusade, and then John McCain will be right when he says we will be there for 100 years. Evangelicals are creating a new bred of Nights Templar. I have always wondered about chaplains in the military, warrior priests. There was a reason, which has been forgotten; that our founding fathers wanted a separation of church and state. At the rate we are going and making this a religious war means only one thing and that is the need for more body bags.

  • The rumor mill has it that plans to strike Iran with stand-off weapons only, which would involve primarily Air Force and Navy units. That is even more frightening in light of this.

We need not to make this war about fulfilling religous prophecies.

Read the Qur'an, 2nd Surah (The Cow) verses 190-194. (Not just 2s190 like the Rushbots do.) Muslims around the world would have no choice but to fight us, and we cannot win. Peace is possible, even according to the Qur'an.

  • It looks as if the Dominionists have a greater foothold in this country than I thought. With the backing of the military they actually COULD mount a coup and take over the government, turning this into a theocracy and killing anyone who opposed them. You religious better be sure you have the "right" belief. Just calling yourself Christian won't be enough. You'd have to be the "right" kind of Christian. Think about it. Separation of church and state benefits everyone.

  • This would be one way they can convince soldiers to kill us, the people.

    Believe me, they will.

  • In basic training I can recall when pastors passed out Bibles to everyone. It didn't bother me because at that time I believed in God. When I delved into it, I asked myself, "This is supposed to give me comfort?" From that point on I started to think that believers are daft.

  • Oh yeah. for a while now. At least since the '90s anyway. Before that too, I suppose. It's really bad now though. The only thing I didn't have a problem with is the Christmas decorations (Nativity Scene). I don't think they were pushing any kind of religion on anybody but some of the other stuff is WAY over the top. The Ann Coulter thing is sick.

  • this is what i been trying to tell u!!!!!

  • Two middle-eastern religions battling it out. Why don't we put them all in a desert together and let them get it over and done with.

  • because you touch yourself at night

  • I suspect the Moslem fascists/mafia are in league with the Christian fascists/mafia.
