And FYI, BMW M slaughter AMG on the track. A E92 M3 GTS is expected to produce the same time as an SLR, and the E46 M3 CSL by 'LOADED' tuning company produces a 7:22 time on the Ring. No Merc comes even close, F/I, tuned or N/A.

Yes, only in the performance range. Just like Motor Trend said "7 is just faster than A8 and S class....and that's it."
Do you think the super luxury saloon buyers look for the cars that are only just fast? And it's not just fast, it's only like 1 or 2 seconds faster than an S class. You need to be a serious loyal buyer of BMW to buy 7, or be ignorant about the difference.
To be honest, on 'Ring, M6 could not beat both CLK Black series AMG and DTM both. Even lost to M3.

And what BMW said about it was "This is the future of automobile, but I don't think we will make it", then why the fuck show some useless concept?
BMW has to keep feeding people so that people would pay attention to them. Mercedes doesn't show stupid concepts and yet, still do better. What's so good about BMW again?

BMW never said they will NOT produce it! There are lot of rumours that VE concept will debut in 2012 as M1 car! What I'm saying is, they're more than capable of creating supercars! And I never said 7 Series was the best! I only said it to disprove your statement that S-Class beats 7 Series in everything.
The current F01 750i is only tenth of a second slower than the E60 550i around the tracks! Search google and you'll see that S-Class/7er buyers do look for performance as well and not just lux

I never really meant that S class beat 7 in every way. I merely said S class is the one that is prefered by the most, and the one that gets awards.
If BMW even wanted to be considered a premium brand, then it better be like Nissan/Infiniti. Infiniti only has the right cars for its brand, and cheap cars for Nissan(except for GT-R)
Mercedes pretty much covers every major thing. Even trucks. And yet, the brand is still recognized as the true luxury brand all because of the S, CL and CLS

If you peeps above want to talk supercars, BMW provided the engines for the Ascari KZ1 and A10, and most prominently, the Mclaren F1.
A Mclaren F1 is a more praised supercar than what an SLR will ever be...
And FYI, BMW M slaughter AMG on the track. A E92 M3 GTS is expected to produce the same time as an SLR, and the E46 M3 CSL by 'LOADED' tuning company produces a 7:22 time on the Ring. No Merc comes even close, F/I, tuned or N/A.

What's so good about BMW? Well, it's famously known for being more of a "driver's oriented car" than other premium car makers like Mercedes and Audi! And there are lot of other reasons too like, it's engine is the best in the world! That's a fact! Look at the International Engine of the Year award table! BMW leads with 47 (Merc = 6)!
And if Merc was actually so much better, why are BMWs selling the most in the world out of Audi, BMW and Merc? IMHO, if I want lux, I'd buy Bentley over Mercs!
