at least we have sweet memories to enjoy, by that i meant the videos on the sidebar. thank god for youtube. i love 90s korean hip hop and pop with an intense passion. kpop these days is aiight, to be honest i wasn't feeling t-ara or 2ne1 that same way i felt about s.e.s and fin kl.
on the bright side, seo taiji went on to be a rock n roll star, lee juno went on to form the young turks club and still contributed to the success of the kpop explosion of the late 90's along with yang hyun suk, who in turn formed yg entertainment and starting off with the success of jinusean(by the way, one of them was a backup dancer for seo taiji and boys) and continued with acts like 1tym, perry, big mama, seven, 2ne1 and big bang.
look at it this way,how would you feel if the group stay together, eventually you would get bored with them, the music will become dull and repetitive, maybe they would flop.it's hard to maintain that number one without thinking" damn, what if the next single or album i release didn't measure up to the last one?" like they say, you're only as good as your last hit.so, i believe they split at the right time, when they were at the peak of popularity and creativity.
it was quite devastating to watch them go their separate ways but in the end, i understood that it was for the best, the pressure for success mounted on them, the tension of working with one another and the schedule pulling them away from their dear friends and families, no time for themselves. so of course it was the right time for their announcement to break up and venture into other projects.
