im having a huge problem with waking up for fajr prayer, all because of laziness. I have to overcome this big sin coz Im definitely sure that once i keep praying fajr on time, the feeling gonna be undescribable
It's really disappointing how people can get up straight away if there's a soccer match to watch or if they have a trip the next day, but they can't wake up when it comes to the remembrance of Allah SWT and praying fajr - something that takes a matter of minutes.
mashallah, the clip expressed the importance of fajr and how elder generations remember it but not a most of modern muslims.we should all make a habit of offering prayers inshallah
The following hadith may help you find the answer:
Once Abdullah ibn-i Ummu Mektum told the Prophet SAS: "O Prohet of Allah! As you know I am a blind person. If somebody holds my arm, I could come to the mosque. It is hard to come to the mosque at night. May I offer my prayers at home instead of coming to the mosque?"
The Prophet SAS said: "Alright! You have an excuse." Yet the Prophet called him back and asked: "Can you hear the adhan?" The man said, "Yes, I can."The prophet said, "If you hear the adhan, you have to come to the mosque."
Allah originally wanted Muslims to pray FIFTY times a day, but, Muhammad somehow managed to get Allah to bring it down to only FIVE times a day. Can you imagine how it would have been if Muhammad wasn't successful in changing Allah's mind? I think, in the Qur'an, though, you can pray just three times a day.
Muhammed didnt change Allah's mind. No one can change Allah mind bcos Allah knows what he is doing. Allah made it on purpose to be 50 prayers in the begigning bcos he knows that us humain beings are never satisfied. He knew they will be asking him to bring it down to 5. Allah knows everything subhannu. If he made it 5 prayers from the begining, they would had asked him to bring it to 1. So to make us satisfied with 5 he made it 50 at the beginning :) so we feel the .....
@5678567856 FYI, Muhammad (SAW) actually first accepted 50 times salaat a day, but then Musa (AS) asked the Prophet (SAW) to go back to Allah to reduce the amount of prayers. Allah, then made it 30 and the Prophet(SAW) accepted and returned but Musa(AS) asked the Prophet(SAW) to go back for further reduction. In this way the Prophet(SAW) went to Allah for a total of four times until Allah made the prayers only 5 times a day. You may check out Bukhaari, Vol. 4, Book 54, Hadith 429.
1- firstly i think my prayer has not such quality to be prayed for the lord of the world, the Almighty Allah. it may be an argument but i admit that my iman has faded
2- i have kinda disease by which i can not be pure sometimes.
these two things are ruining me. and i cant even discuss these two things to scholars bacause they disclose your imformation. sometimes i think you people are luckiest because you have control on you iman. help me someone pls :(
1- be careful dont fall for the traps of Ibliss. He might be whispering to you that ur prayers are worthless to discourage you and think there is no point for you to pray. Its one of the number one trap of Sheitan. So plz be careful!
2- concerning the desease u have, may Allah gives u health, I am sure Allah understand ur situation. Its ur intentions that compte no matter what. Allah do not bear what u are not able to control.
it is so encouraging when we see that some people are physically weaker then us but they are always diligent to prayers on time, thanks them deeply to have been an example for me to follow,
jazakom Allah el kheiran. :) hope we all be examples for the future generations.

masha allah everyone their is a new islamic animation out called misri bunch by a company called qadimoon, in the uk, please watch the trailer it is excellent mashallah, may allah grant you to jannah.. jazzakallah.
I have Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, basically my circadian rhythm is off, so for me to go to bed at 12am is like most of you going to bed at 6pm. I usually don't fall asleep until about 4am. By the time Fajr comes, I am usually asleep, plus if I were to wake up I would be under the influence of medicine that I take for sleeping. I do not know how to be able to get up for this prayer but I at least try to do the others.
i understand what u are going through. i was the exacat same way.. till my daughter got in pre-school. I had to wake up every morning at 7 am and of course i would fall alseep very early at night bcos i was exhausted. Now, alhamdulilah, i became an early waker and everything is going well now.
Before my sleep was a mess. :p i used to hate going to bed early. I enjoyed the night. my family called me the vempire lol..i also was afraid to go to bed early bcos i know if i do, i would wake up in the middle of the night. i had to make sure i was extremely for me to sleep straight without waking up.
BUT, when u force urself on waking up early, i mean "every single day at the same hour", ur body will eventualy adjust inshallah. Do not give up! :) I know it will be some strugle, it wont happen in one night. It needs time. Dont worry. It worked for me, i am sure it will for you inshallah. If Allah sees your dertermination, he will make it easy for you inshallah. Ameen.
btw.. just an little advice about the pm medicines.
Personaly they were making things go even worse, bcos they meseds up with my cicardian rhythm. be the boss of ur body. If u let a medicine control ur sleep patern will be trapped in the same circle. the key is to force urself to wake up a little bit earlier each day.. even you didnt get anough sleep and know u wont function normaly, get up off ur bed!
but wait.. you cant take naps during day ok? :) you will fall asleep like a baby at night. you might not feel tired the first day and stay late anyway but dont worry after a week you will be exhausted and fasll alseep like a baby :) i know honey it wil be hard, but i did it and you will inshallah! chose days where you are off school or work to save ur energy and to avoid being sick. Good luck and take care. :)
