  • this is what im putting on my 8 no fart cans,,not tryin to look like an asshole driveing down the street i want a sufisticated sound,,bet in real life it perrs like a kitty,,

cant freakin wait to get mine,,

  • from what ive heard at mazda trix racing beat is the way to go as far as performance

  • I just ordered this for my rx8 along with the racing beat cold air intake woot woot

  • Those RB tips look fantastic. Too bad it's the "mature man's" exhaust sound in my opinion.

  • @mpalm887 - I am the "mature man". Haha. Had my fair share of loud exhausts in my day. Done with that.

  • MS and RB Exhaust are almost the same. It is only when you modify the midpipe that the exhaust will become much louder.

  • help me out here, deciding between

Agency Power Catback with the cat-delete exhaust

    Mazdaspeed exhaust

    and Racing Beat

which one is best? I don't want something ridiculously loud though..

  • @Reaction92 personally i think the mazdaspeed sounds the most like stock. its just louder, a little deeper, and has more pop. i love the stock sound so if i was going to get an exhaust id probily go with ms because it sounds the most like stock.

  • @marlinbike also check out the Fujitsubo exhaust.

  • @mistaevanson - yes.

  • @arjunnotay - Notice the car was running when the video started? ;)

  • @DeclanKeirSaks - 4-5 HP gain. It's negotiable.

  • Oh shit! I just realized its Altspace! Whats up bro from the 8 club! LOL

  • @crazyjek762 - Yup, it's me. ;)

  • I think im sold on this. Racing Beat makes so many awsome mods for the rotary and they do a great job. You should get their headers... what a difference in sound lol. it really brings out the sound of the rotary. BTW, dual exhaust is the way to go for a lil bit of sound deadening. Single outlet is always louder which is why i like the dual.

  • @crazyjek762 - Oh yea, I'm very familiar with all different headers, mid pipes, both single and dual exhaust. Installed quite a few on different RX-8s. Check out my other videos.

  • its droooling :p

  • @altronchi - LOL!!!

  • @altronchi - Nice.

  • okay im getting a racingbeat exhaust :D

  • @altronchi - Sweet! Check out the newer HD video.

  • sweet sound

  • im getting a 2004 with 47k miles for 10k

  • what year rx8 is this ?

  • @jazzjackrabbit408 - 2004. First year they came out.

  • @altspace1 sweet im getting a 2004 with 40k miles for 10k

  • Nice, what is that red called?

  • @BigChiefWiggles - Velocity Red Mica

  • @BigChiefWiggles um....red lol

  • i got one of these also and it's nice and quiet during idle just like the stock except deeper. and like altspace1 said when you WOT it's nice and loud.

  • BEAUTIFUL !

  • hey where did u order this exhaust from, i am going to be getting one of these in the next few weeks and would like to know, i love the sound, its not real obnoxious like the other ones i have heard.

  • @scdude37 - Sposorship deal.

  • very nice 8 you have there bro.

    nice exhaust sound too.

what are some things i should know about the rx8?

  • @zedblaze7 - Anything and everything! Too much to list here.

  • @zedblaze7 rx8 club.com will tell you all you need to know.

  • If only it was factory turbo'd it would be incredible.......

  • @dsm2xtreme - If only...but I have to say mine has been very reliable. Owned her for over 3 years now. Not a single issue.

  • @dsm2xtreme nah idont think so cars with factory turbos are so cheap

  • I got the same exhaust on my 8, get compliments everywhere with it. Great choice bro.

  • @boosted04specV - Thx!

  • Are these alot louder than stock?

  • Depends on your definition of what is loud. It's the quietest exhaust for the RX-8, unless you really get on it and then it opens up and sounds awesome!

  • I was thinking of buying an exhaust system for my 8 but dont want it to be loud like borla's or something. Since this might be the quietest exhaust, I might consider these.

    Thanks

  • @ddtran46 - Is it "louder", well of course. But it's tuned, not just an annoying "loud" open muffler sound. Racing Beat engineered the perfect combination of power to exhaust note.

  • ...did u just rev the fuck out of a cold engine o.O

  • Hell no. I'm am much to smart for that. The smoke you see is due to the very cold temps outside. Note this video was posted in December and I live in New England. ;)

  • Also notice the car was running when I started the video.

  • I still think borla sounds the best. Glad I have it.

  • Borla was my 2nd choice. After almost a year and a half, I still love this exhaust. Mind you that there are limitations of recording audio and listening to speakers. You have to hear in person.

  • Is it called Racing Beat Rev8 exhaust?

  • damn it doesnt even sound like a rotary minus hearing them rotors wind up

  • I own a Turbo S15, and RX8 is one of my favorite car as well. RWD Power :D

  • Woot!

  • Gosh I love RX-8s. No matter what exhaust, the rotary engine sounds the exact same on every RX-8 after a certain RPM.

  • HP gains with cat back exhausts are minimal on modern day cars in general. Certainly nothing you would feel with the "butt" dyno. What it does is open up the melodic sound of the rotary, and for that I love it.

  • Doesn't RB say that it gives +3,5 HP ?

  • You're lucky to get 3HP at Peak RPM

  • I have the same exhaust with my turbo set up. What I hate about it is that it's heavy -_- btw is that with a cat or without?

  • Weight is not a big concern for me. I don't race or track the car, just show events. I have stock cats and RB intake.

  • heavy? a little more than 1300 kgs ^o)

    is not tooo heavy \o/

  • Read further down. It was warmed up.

  • I own a RX8. The Racing Beat Exhaust is one of the quietest aftermarket exhaust for the RX8. The Mazdaspeed, and the Borla are louder, and also sound better in my opinion. If you want a really loud exhaust with huge tips, get the Exotic Speed exhaust.

  • Could not agree more - Borla all the way!

  • actually, 2 of my friends hav the greddy sp2 exhaust..... now those r loud and they spit fire too.

but in my opinion i dont want something thatll the neighbor will complain about every morning when i go to work, but mazdaspeed is just right.

  • I too have a friend with the GReddy exhaust. Though you really only have backfire when the cat is removed.

  • hey, nise car. how loud is it in real life? cos i am buying an rx8 in the eer future and i want a realy loud one

  • It sounds as though it has some backfire in the pipes... is that normal??

  • Yup.

  • sounds very nice man. i'm choosing between racing beat and borla. racing beat is a lot cheaper and they sound almost the same. wouldn't rev your engine after just starting it though. i know whenever i start my rex on a chilly morning it idles at about 2500 rpm for a little like that. your car though. nice one btw.

  • Thanks! Go RB for sure. Yea, I never rev it just after start up. This was after 2-3 minutes or so.

  • Sounds good Alt....

Did you just put that in.. I don't remember you having that on at the Cape Cod meet.

  • Yes, installed a couple weeks ago.

  • Cool... Sounds sweet. Get a good deal on one?

  • Very nice. Do you have full catback or is it just the axle back?

  • I might get one of these after i finish my fc3c convertible

  • Yea boy!

  • Vroom-vroom-vroom!

    nice n angry!
