The Car is most definitely a LeGrand Mk22 Formula Vee. As far as I know there were only 2 actually built. The design was NOT original to Legrand but was a design bought from four designer in the SF region of the SCCA, a KWIC.
Certainly looks like a LeGrand to me mate!. Any chance of having you take some pic's of the header system for me, as I am going to be building my own Vee racer later this year. The low profile of this header sys is what I'm lookin for, it fits my aerodynamic plans. Looking forward to hearing from you, and truly best wishes on your awesome rebuild...lucky stiff!
