It was good! But her voice sounded tired and it was a little Brittney spears ish. I liked that they didn't use the same blocking as all the others, but it was a bit much at times. And to me, the star is Hyde. But he melted into the background a bit.
On the whole, not bad. Pretty fabulous for children's theatre. And great dedication in my opinion
Yall are terrific.... more raw, and the sexual tension is wonderful. I love, love, love, the way yall did it. I am an old Jekkie... who was there for Linda Eder's final performance. I saw the show on the road and on Broadway and I have every version recorded.
I must say that at the end it looked a little too choreographed, but was stll good enough that I loved it!!! it must have been hard to sing in that voice for, what did you say, 4 shows!! was your throat feeling O.K. afterwards?
Wow, that's....vitriolic. Sorry if I "offended" you. Sadly, I have not yet been "shoted" and am now working professionally in the atlanta area. Thanks for the comment :)
area yes, not arena? I don't think we have an arena here, other than Phillips. Anyway, I'm acting at different theatre companies trying to make a career out of this.
and that is why you don't smoke cigarettes kids.... That is a moment in my life I will never forget....My weekend of fame, sucks that I ruined my voice before the performance. Thank-you for all the comments. I honestly mean that ali.... is a great performer and friend...I'm very lucky to have gotten to perform with someone so talented!
Actually, I thought they handled the sexuality of this song better than some of the other versions of this song I've seen, even more professional ones. There was a lot of creative interaction. I actually may have liked a bit more subtelty now and again, especially near the end, but all in all I though this was good.

The blocking was a breath of fresh air. Much more movement than most I've watched. I liked it at lot in some parts.

no, it was definitely not ok. lol. I won't say whether the choreography added or detracted but we did it as best we could.

I was apart of this theatre from 1990 to 1996-97. There is no Childrens Theatre like it anywhere! No one compares! RIP Leslie and Norm...

well, thanks for the objectivity.

This scene is hard for young people to make realistic, because while the voices were good, the tension is not realistic yet.
