decent kit but instead of repeating allot of the items buy higher quality items, for example there is allot of matches in this kit so just replace the non waterproof ones with a fire steel and also go for a smaller and more powerfull flashlight like ( it dosent have to be expensive, energizer makes good afforadble ones) and lastly this kit is pretty well thought out and covers all areas of survival, good one and keep it up :D

You have a lot of matches, 2 waterproof cans a large box of kitchen matches and 4 boxes of waterproof matches. A quick question, why do you have smoke bombs in your pack? All kidding aside, good pack but too much and too heavy, streamline, if it can't be used for more than one purpose, try to let it go. Some you can't but just be frugal with the weight and space.

you have a lot of equipment , a nice selection, but you only want to be carying around 10 pound in weight, remember the basic rules, food water shelter, have thowse things sorted first and formost, try and have a smaller kit as well should the need to ditch your main pack. get used to your gear and learn to use it well, especialy the machette many a man has lost fingers and limbs swinging one of them around, you need at least 1 litre of water a day, its an easy mistake to take more thn u need

Your gear choices are superb and beat the snot out of half the adult designed kits shown on youtube.

A few things to consider like some hexamine cubes like like the brand name Wetfire from UST to take the place of your various tender. Nothing wrong with your tender but the cubes would be more compact, burn longer, and work in wet or windy condition's. Also add a multivitamin, being in a survival situation takes alot out of the body and it really is the worst possible time to get sick.

I'd say you have too much gear for one 'survival kit', but in reality you would probably pick and chose which bits of kit you would take on various trips according to season and environment which is good, plus if your traveling in a group, then it's good that you have extras of various things that they can carry and may just save their lives if they hadn't bothered to prepare their own survival kit

if you dont want a full sized i recommend the gerber gator junior(the smaler one of that brand/type) its the same thing just smaller i say it at a local store i bought it its prety sweet looks badass.
