THIS was a smart change. The Episode I puppet didn't really look like the one from EMPIRE and JEDI. It was hard to believe that it was the same Yoda...and that made him kinda distracting.

I actually think changing Yoda to CGI in this one is a good move, because he's CGI in the rest of the prequels. Doesn't make sense to me how he's a puppet in only one of the prequel films.

WHAT!? How in the HELL is this animated model giving a weaker performance than the damn puppet? I'm not just being a CGI hater here. Usually, I'd expect more emotion through a computer animated character than a puppet. But the puppet Yoda properly conveyed the emotions in this scene and this animation isn't giving very much to the camera at all. Obviously improving the performance had nothing to do with this change.

This is a good change. I agree with it. He looks so much better... the difference was very apparent between TPM and AOTC, and I'm glad it's consistent now.

The only complaint I have is in the wide shot, he actually looks cut and pasted in.
This is actually a fairly good change though, the puppet was just down right creepy.

this change isnt that bad, i agree with it, but its not well done, hes kinda not moving hes mouth, and he looks terribly cut in :/
ewok change is my favorite, obi wan scaring the sand people sucked and vaders new dialogue sucks :/

This change I'm ok with. Lucas can and should fuck with Episode I and II as much as possible. I don't see how even he could make them worse. The rest of them he should be banned from ever seeing again. If he at least gave us the option of watching the original theatrical movies I wouldn't care.

Is it just me or does the medium shot of Yoda, Ki-Adi Mundi and Mace Windu...make Yoda seem really out of place in that shot? I'm not complaining...just it looks....odd

@dedricthere QT makes some great films but personally I think the guy is a prick, CGI is the future of cinema.....I can just see people years ago complaining about colour 'but it takes away the drama, if I want to see something in colour I'd go watch a play'. Anyway wasn't QT a guest director on Sin City? A film which is mostly shot on green screen? I hope his mate Robert Rodriguez gave him slap round the face for such a stupid comment.
