Actually, Fox carried one race for the IRL in 1999. It was the Dover race.

When the series expanded the schedule in 1998 and 1999, ESPN and ABC were tied up with CART's contract and seeked other avenues to gain esposure including CBS/TNN and FOX... Parly inspiring the idea to get NASCAR on FOX.

I remember the days that IRL races was on Fox Sports Net and Fox. I wish Fox is showing IRL races next year but Versus is showing some races.
