voltron first ran in 1984

so power rangers was around before voltron was even thought of and is a pretty blatant copy at that

The plot was better in the 80's cartoons but it did have holes like 2 episodes ago it took 10 million light years to get from Planet Doom to Planet Ares in minutes . But it takes longer than that to fly around whatever planet there in that is a loophole in these old series people .

For this one, the white lion could have easily eaten the princess on the spot. And the time spent tying up the Voltron force, could have been time spent simply killing them. Easy victory for the bad guys. : P
