  • To sbodji I have all of them to and I'm eleven !!

  • His punch blew up a ship

  • This version of the intro was used on every Canadian vhs of Tintin. With the logo replaced with an english or french one of course.

  • i never before see amazing like funny.

  • The people who dislike this video:go suck on my butt!!!TINTIN is awesome

  • Freakin nostalgia

  • I just saw the movie today and was actually quite impressed. As you may guess, Spielberg took a lot of his own direction in the movie, but he did well with that part. However there were still a lot of parts that fit directly in with the comics to keep a fan like me grinning and happy. There were also a lot of little things he stuck in there, mostly near the beginning that only a fan would notice.

  • When is the movie coming out?

  • Bam, struck by nostalgia.

  • I was looking for this intro with soundeffects

  • The animation isn't finished, no?

  • Tintin kicks so much ass.

  • This was one of my favourite series when I was a child. The storyline was amazing and very intruiging. The characters were constantly growing during the series in term of personality. I have every episode on my laptop and I still watch these from time to time :)

  • tintin is the best

  • one of the best series ever said by a fan from denmark

  • So help me if they mess up the movie. Those Carpathian caterpillars, those Nitwitted ninepins, those Dictatorial duck billed diplodocuses will pay

  • thumbs up if you came here after watchin it's trailer :D

just to remembe how effin good this was!

  • 0:35 Holy crap, Tintin's punch just blew up a freaking ship.

  • @n00bofdestiny You said it! lol

  • So powerful!

    my childhood

  • @SilverGalford anime is anoying

  • childhood.....

  • Am I the only one who thinks hes the younger Prof. Layton?

  • @INEEDZALL Yes....

  • @SilverGalford If it is anime, it sucks. I've seen that too.

  • @SilverGalford I never said they didn't. I just said that EVERY obsessed fan of ANYTHING does that. I've seen it with American cartoons and European cartoons as well.

  • @SilverGalford I've seen it with every other fandom. Even the fans of Tintin aren't above doing that.

  • @SilverGalford That applies to pretty much any obsessed fan. I'm not sure why anyone in God's green hell would compare Tintin to Naruto.

  • @SilverGalford Yeah and some people think The Simpsons is the best show in existence. Some people think Code Lyoko is the best. Others think the best is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What's your point?

  • @SilverGalford Aaaand what does Naruto have to do with this?

  • dude this is the best cartoon intro song ever made it get the feeling of indiana jones in it too

  • @SilverGalford Hey! I like naruto and tintin, both are great (except the naruto anime, which sucks)

  • watch ..TINTIN IN THAILAND........youtube.com/watch?v=zSa-CIBeGro...........

  • Pure win.

  • I have all the Tintin books. ( im twelve)

  • Like this if you are born around 86-92 and you remember this being on Nick.

  • They oughta use this music for the upcoming theatrical movie. It has the same iconic strength as the tune of Indiana Jones.

  • I went to the Hergé museum last week and simply HAD to hear this tune again. Thank you!

  • Full Length CG film coming soon!!

  • Dutch and Flemish is almost the same, accept that Flemish is a dutch dialect. In Holland or the Netherlands and in Flanders (north side of Belgium) they speak dutch. In the south part of Belgium (and the biggest part of the capitol: Brussels) people speak French. Hergé, the writer of Tintin, lived in Brussels and spoke French. So Tintin was the original name of the famous reporter... The dutch name for Tintin was/is Kuifje.

  • Shout Factory announced today that they're bringing the show to DVD.

  • good =)

  • Belgian is like dutch i am dutch

  • Comment removed

  • @futurama145 Lol! I was always sure, that Belgian is kind of like a dialect of French (Wikipedia says, that there's no such a language as Belgian, Belgium has three official languages: Dutch, French and German)

  • @Le0n1d1024 Isn't "Dutch" called Flemish in Belgium, though?

  • @HammerBirchgrove I dunno lol

  • "Kuifje" XD

you couldn't keep the real name (TinTin)?

  • Comment removed

  • this is the intro i was looking for with the background sounds auiting to the graphics. i dont know whether this is the intro for the season 1or 2 or 3 . but indeed the best 1.

  • Man, the episode with the Inca mummy used to scare the shit out of me. One of the greatest cartoons ever.

  • @jokluz: Agreed. The introduction to this was fucking unbelievable for a cartoon. I managed to rip and download it. Beautiful stuff.

  • @jokluz i thought i was the only one scared with that fuckin episode XD watching it at night on my grandparents house's. those were good times.

  • in dutch?? Kuifje?? LoL

  • @leonardo9009 the writer of Kuifje was dutch ;)

  • @SM4RTJE Herge was not from Belgic??

  • @SM4RTJE , Nee hoor, Hij kwam uit Franstalig België :-)

  • @SM4RTJE belgian actually

  • Comment removed

  • @SM4RTJE the writer of Kuifje was belgian, he wrote the stories in french, not in dutch. and you call yourself smartje? you're not that smart, are you?

  • @SM4RTJE No, he was from Belgium

  • @SM4RTJE he was dutch-speaking... but belgiannnnnnnnnnnnnnn :)

  • @SM4RTJE No? He was Belgian, you dumbfuck.

  • Comment removed

  • @SM4RTJE Hij was een belg sukkel

  • Comment removed

  • @SM4RTJE actually I believe he spoke/wrote TinTin (kuifje) in French not Dutch...But I'm not sure.

  • @SM4RTJE he wasn't Dutch, he was Belgian. Hergé spoke French, but lived in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. The original hero is called "Tintin", but these series were very big in Flanders and Holland.

  • @SM4RTJE I thought he was Belgian :o

  • @SM4RTJE He was actually Belgian, lol. Not trying to be a jerk, but it's true.

  • Comment removed

  • @SM4RTJE Actually Herge, the writer of Kuifje, was Belgian, and Kuifje's true name is Tintin.

  • @SM4RTJE nope he was a Belgian living in Brussels

  • @SM4RTJE Belgian.

  • @SM4RTJE hij was belgisch...

  • @SM4RTJE he was belgian not dutch :)

  • so.. spielberg is going to make 3 movies of tintin? OH NOOO, HE'S GONNA UTILIZE TINTIN!!

  • This is just the best bloody cartoon ever. Seriously it is difficult to put into words the atmosphere each episode entails. I am extremely glad it was part of my childhood.

  • dont remeber the episode but when i was a kid the part about hte mummy in the open window scaried the shit outta me... made sure my window was closed every night and shat myself during thunderstorms XD hope im not the only one

  • Thankyou so much for posting! I've got the seires on DVD but they've changed the clips they show (the music's the same), and as I think everyone who's commented on this video would agree, you just can't do that!

  • i remember this cartoon.... i had watched it all the time.

  • coming back to watch, I now have to ask, where does 0:24 - 0:27 come from? I had watched the whole series a couple years ago but absolutely didn't recall seeing "that" at all

  • @AmazingJames1987 The clip of the two men should be the twins in Explorers on the Moon and the clip of the door closing is from an episode I probably havent seen.

  • @JoystickJunkie64 - yeah that's Thompson and Thomson (they were great in that story :D ), doesn't seem like anybody knows about those doors, maybe I'll just have to closely watch them all again or something - a lot of animated series use new animations all for the theme, but these are direct from the series, so somewhere, something's missing

  • @AmazingJames1987 The doors closing is from Cigars of the Pharaoh :) when Tintin walks into a tomb

  • @carrotstick24601 - those are slightly different, the design on them, both had a body coming together, the one from the cigars story it's the body of a pharaoh with his arms crossed holding something, the one in the intro the character's right hand is out and left hand holding whatever those things are called :P ~

Tintin and the Cigars of the Pharaoh ((1/5)) - video posted by neeraj2008, around 7-16 shows those doors closing

  • 0:34 damn I wish I could punch like that...

  • hope none claims copyright and gets it removed.

  • Didn't this air on Nickelodeon in the mid 90s?

  • @DavidValley yes it did

  • Those 2 people cannot find clues like Tin Tin so they be hating

  • i frickin used to LOOOOVEEEE this show!! ugh memories... :)

  • @FreshYaBoyBozz where you lookin at my favorites hahaha i think your like the only friend i have on you tube who used to like this show

  • Yay! Dutch one! Aaah good times, good times... <3

I used to have problems reading until my dad came up with the awsome idea to teach me through Kuifje! xD Of course, the fims had to be bought as well after that ;)

Amazing theme. Great dynamics and really catchy :D

  • The 2 people who dislike this must be Rastapopoulos and Dr. Müller .

  • @battleofadwa

And the Fakir and Allan, to boot.

  • @battleofadwa oh look, allan the sailor watched it too :P

  • @battleofadwa The third dislike must be Allan's...

  • lol imagine his actually punch the ship and exploded XD

  • @DaddyWalrusguy

Tintin is the european Chuck Norris, man.

0:37 Even God won't attack him

  • NOW, THIS WAS CLASSIC!

  • My dream used to be going around solving misterys. I was very young when it was shown here in Brazil, and I had to ask my mother permission to stay awake untill later to be able to watch it. I still love Tintin like I did back in those days.

  • ive listened to this like 30 times in a row

  • *tear

  • I loved this series growing up.

  • Long live Tintin, Hergé and Belgium!

    Leve Kuifje, Hergé en België!

Vive Tintin, Hergé et la Belgique!

  • I REMEMBER THIS SHOW. holy shit.

  • One of the best comic to cartoon series ever! Pure class.

  • loved watching this show! is it still on tv???

  • pity that theres no episode of 'Tintin - Africa'... :(

  • @merjin93 Probably because it's really racist.

  • There must be a censored and a uncensored version of the cartoon as I swear I seen different versions of same episodes. Like the one with the Sun temple is pretty scary but has a censored version thats less scary.

  • that show was awsome i used to get up every Saturday morning and watch this all day:)

  • why do professors in cartoons always have lightbulb-shaped heads?

  • yea..like many, i watched this a a boy, i also read the comics, i loved that dog :(

  • (tear).......memories of when I used to watch dis on HBO, Nickelodeon, & Cartoon Network when I was lil boy!

  • haha i like the part where bianca's singing preceded the window breaking from 'the calculus affair'.

  • well i just got the complete set for 40 and i love this show its kickass and great actores everything

  • Ah I used to watch this as a kid before I started school :D

  • A masterpiece by Herge. Hats off to the creator of the animated series too!!! Gone are my childhood days.

  • I like the part in 0:35 where Tin Tin punches then shows a pirate ship explode!

  • WOW!!! I never saw the cartoon but I had ALL the comics and loved Tin Tin!!! This brings back so many memories!!! I loved the characters!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • It's been 10 years since I last saw/heard this. Still great. Batman by way of Indiana.

  • ah! Les adventures de Tintin! That's one quote I always remember from this series xD It was dupped into finnish so we didn't have original voices though x(

  • duizend bommen en granaten

  • The music for the tintin cartoons is really nice! It brings back wonderful memories of me having dinner and watching them on tv! =)

  • @qwertyuiopns Tintin is the only series that I watched with my parents ^_^

  • watching this show as a kid was like being in an adventure lol

  • @GUCCImontana420 and reruns never really got old

  • Thank you for uploading this! I've always wanted to see this intro of Tintin :)

  • If they use the same technique as James Cameron did with Avatar, this could be even more effective when it comes to special effects terms.

  • I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS GOING TO BE A MOVIE!!!!! Oh my god. I don't care if people bitch about it. I'm SO in shock and peeing my pants once december comes. It's like a dream come true!

  • You know, they already made around 5 or so tintin movies in the past.

  • yeeeah... but not like, superawesome IRL ones.

  • At least two of them where non-animated.

  • you mean the ones from the 70s-80s? Or well, looked like it was set in that time.

  • Yeah, but they must've sucked or been nothing special. What other reason would it be for barely any mentioning of it?

  • Just because they are obscure doesn't mean that they sucked. If I recall correctly they were pretty good.

Although, the stage plays were better.

Kapitein Haddock is echt grappig, man.

  • Ran ran ruu~

  • awesome

  • LOVE IT!

  • Any one else hoping that Spielberg works this theme into the film?

  • I DO! it better be in there to

  • What film? is there a tintin movie?!?!

  • It's being made by Steven Spielberg

  • And Produced by Peter Jackson. It will be a Motion Capture 3-D Film. Even though I dont really know what it means.. Perhaps CGI?

  • @EclipseTheDarkOne

Yes it's in CGI! Just like the Christmas Carol and Polar Express. An actor will have a Motion Capture suite and the movements he makes will be transferd in 3D.

  • So like what they do for most fighting games lately. The rubber suit with the few lights onto it where the actor will perform the actions and they will use that onto the characters?

  • Yes. :)

  • Yea John Williams is re-introducing this score and there will be reconisable tunes throughout the entire movie.

  • @Gunganbuster probably wouldn't bother me if he didn't, what I wish companies did do though, to promote movies absed off great cartoon series like this, is get them back on TV at some point before the movie gets released

  • @Gunganbuster hope so but doubt it :(

  • Hells yeah! Also, Snowy shouldn't talk and although they're always awesome, I'm not sure Simon Pegg and Nick Frost would be right in the roles of the Thompsons.

  • @Gunganbuster I keep hearing that Spielberg is doing an animation on TinTin, when is it coming out? and I do hope he will use this same soundtrack ... or maybe something better :D

  • @Gunganbuster There could be copyright problems with using this soundtrack.

  • @Goodiesfanful It's Steven Spielberg. He can manage.

  • @Gunganbuster He'll probably work this theme in with a tiny homage. Like a character whistling it.

  • @Gunganbuster yes, I am!!!

  • @Gunganbuster Honestly I hope he does because everytime I would watch this intro starting from the train coming out of the tunnel I got pumped up. He simply has to put this theme music into the film and actually there were a couple of other nice tunes.

Fantastic video quality by the way

  • @Gunganbuster

    God, it must be

  • @Gunganbuster

It has to be. that theme IS Tin Tin, There can be no other theme.

  • @Gunganbuster I do

  • ah jeugdsentiment.

  • nice
