This is ALWAYS Plushenko for me. So when I hear people talk about his lack of artistic expression, I always think of this. It's there...and potential for me too. But I think that this was his peak.

I'm sorry, great jumper, powerful skater, but his programs look all the same to me. And he can only move one thing at a time, either the arms or the legs. There's no way this could have beaten Yag if he hadn't done so many mistakes due to the injury.

@Porporinablu "If" - it doesn't make much sense in sports. Plushenko made no mistakes. He beat Jagudin in all race in 2001. I love Plu far better, than Jagudin. This is matter of taste. And Jagudin retired in 2002, but Plushenko will compete in next season! I love Plushenko!!!

@Porporinablu Plushenko was a dancer-performer in the ice, more elegant and expressive. He had more flexibilite, like a ballet dancer (spiralls, biellman) He dance on the ice (nijinsky=ballet, tango, modern, etc) He has expression with all his body, he transmit more emotions. He wins in 2001 because he was the best. He deserved gold medal. This year he ´s european champion (he has a great problem whith his knee) When you compete, feeling is more important than pain.
