I believe this was and still is his biggest hit. He looks terrific on the video. He was 39 here. I think in the more recent years he has had some cosmetic treatment.
; My nan's favourite singer. God I don't even remember the lyrics I haven't heard it for so long. She used to play it all the time and I'd always be dancing with her. I miss her so much. RIP Nan xxx
Back in 1979 I was 14 years old, and it was one of the first hits I ever listened to in a discotek...... and it was on the good old famous no more excisting gaslight :-p - great song when ur going down memory lane
"Cliff Richard, We don't talk anymore", so said Mel Oxley, a newsreader with the BBC World Service, just before the news at 09.00 hours GMT, some time back in the early '80s.
Some of his songs are being denied on BBC because he sings about Jesus Christ; The Commandments; and 30 years ago The Rolling Stones were denied on that very same BBC, because they were singing about sex and satisfaction - the world is changing, yeah!!!
A Chinese girl was at one of Cliff's concerts and asked him to sing "It's a Sore Fanny" He said that he did not know that one.She said "Of course you sing that one a lot".When Cliff asked her to remind him with a couple of lines from the song she mumbled"It's a Sore Fanny How We Don't talk Any More"
And then I bet she went home after the concert and told her daddy living in Shanghai "Daddy I really like that song It's a Sore Fanny". And her daddy said "Ok baby, I'll buy the whole franchise for your 5th birthday."
That's the greatest hit by the great Sir Cliff Richard, The song made it the # 1 in U.K and his biggest in USA made it the # 7 on the Billboard Charts late in 1979.
Vďaka Cliff za piesne, ktoré nám prinášajú radosť. A aspoň raz byť na Cliffovom koncerte.

Is this song somewhat misogynist? Or is it just bitter? "don't come crying to me when you're the lonely one"
