  • Dear god Germans are weird.

    Love it.

  • good weapon but 9mm is a bit fail

  • @aleksandr974

    Then buy a 10mm

  • Not to sound like a jerk, but if this gun is so good (which i really like it) how come it isnt widely used like Glock or H&K?

  • @akalda1 It is widely used outside the US by special forces and other Police. On top of that, here in the US, Glock usually gives LEOs a deal on the price, so it makes the gun significantly cheaper and more obtainable.

Consider a Walther P99 for $700 new and a Glock for a discounted price of around $400. Which makes more sense to mass purchase?

  • great way to break the ice

  • I like this gun it is a little different as far as the sites go it doesnt seem to shoot the same as other guns but once u get it down it is an incredible smooth low recoil gun. I used it for IDPA & find it to be smoother then the Glock 17 once u master the sights i found it was just as accurate & maybe a little faster fire rate. Its not really an everyday carry weapon but it is a great gun

  • What kind of laser is on the Walther? I just got a P99 AS 9mm and looking for a laser.

  • @rcm102186 Did u notice that the p99 shoots a little different then other guns as far as the sights go?

  • Lol get a P90, a P99 and the P90X workout and you will become a P90 master!

  • i really wanna buy me one of these! any1 selling theirs?

  • Love Mine!! I have it in 40S&W and it is light , comfortable and accurate. Takes some getting use to but the trigger pull is crisp, the action smooth and it is very reliable. My second choice for compact carry is my Sig P239 in 40 or 357Sig, it is not as comfortable but it's sweet to shoot.

Now get out and Practice and remember if you practice crap you become a Crap Master.

  • I own a P99QA....one of the originals all German imported. I love it! The best handgun I have ever used, and one of the most accurate. My only complaint is the brand specific accessory rail, but this was dropped for a weaver rail in the newer ones. Anyone saying they don't like the P99 has never shot one_end of story.

  • @HatrXx78 totally agree with you

  • have any of you noticed that the sound effects are from the first Matrix? lol

  • maybe the best 9mm pistol when i have never seems i love my p99 hehehee

  • i like H&K p30 . This one is my second best. I don't likeglock at all.

  • the part at 0:59 that is a 1 and 1,000,000 shot

  • The p99 is awesome, nice to shoot, XD is the second best. The glock comes in 3rd.

  • so whats the best??

  • Fabrique National Five-Seven by far the best

  • Yup, but the price tag is hefty!

  • five seven is worth it though; no recoil, 3 - 20 rd mags, penetrates class II body armor, weighs literally nothing, tough, reliable.

  • if you can afford to shoot it, its not all you say it is

  • The price of all ammunition has gone up since osama was elected, so what's the difference?

  • Like the above poster said P99 then XD but I might call it a tie. I was shooting an HK USP Tactical and when I shot the XD .45 I freaked. XD .45 is my choice for .45, light and sooo accurate. I never had tighter groups with any other handgun.

  • Watch videos of the Walther p99 .40 cal being fired. The front doesn't fly up when fired, stays very steady. Very accurate gun.

  • its the james bond gun isnt it?

  • Yes sometimes a P99. The most frequent Bond gun has been the Walther PPK which is an awesome .380. The P5 appeared once.

  • I really dont like the way Glocks shoot. The XD by Springfield is one of the best, I would take the p99 anyday over a Glock. Try them out before you buy.

  • Wich do you recomend? A Glock 17 or the P99?

  • p99

  • glock is the ugliest weapon i have ever seen...imho

  • the glock is proven to be the most durable and reliable gun in the world...and it can hold up to 33 rounds in 9mm :D

  • How is a P99 Compared to A Glock 17 in 9mm??

  • its damn better, the glock is bulky and not as relible

  • not even close

  • Well, ones again, I have to say this video have proved that germany is famous for its great weapon manufacturer, not its two-decays-delayed commercials.

  • yes they are esspecially wiv heckler&koch

  • NICE! the ice reminds of die another day lol

I wonder if it can be possible to have a P99 9mm 16 rounds in Canada since weapon enforcement is very strict... with the walther accessory suppressor and tac rail would be so nice, XD9 or G17-G21 would be too... Not as pricey as a Deagle 50AE (my favorite...)

  • That's right, P99s can also be used in dance clubs to get funky with!

  • lmfao!!!!

  • Awesome video, very well done. It'd be cool to see other gun promo videos like this one!

  • I had a HK USP in .45 and loved it - nevertheless I changed it to a Walther P99 (custom made in .357 SIG - even better stopper than .45).

  • great gun, i have a vid up of me shooting my p99 but god this video is so freaking cheesy and stupid, you would not shoot their gun you would shoot them!

  • german weapons are the best weapons!!

  • That's my special boy!!! I love this gun.

  • This is THE CHEESYEST SHIT I HAVE EVER SEEN. And that's saying a lot.... I've sat through Michael Moore films!

  • Are all Walther's made in Germany???

  • ya they origonated from germany...but america smith and wesson makes them too

  • ALL walthers are made in Germany. Smith & Wesson simply imports them to the US and handles the warranty/service here.

  • mine was made in germany but imported through s&w

  • Yes they are all made in Germany. However Smith and Wesson makes some guns that are identical to the Walthers but they just put their S&W logo on it.

  • they not only import them but they test fire them and do run checks

  • pretty much any well made gun is made in germany.

  • Well, as far as polymer pistols go, you just about hit the nail on the head. Hell, with the exception of SigSauer, the Springfield XD and the M1911-A1, Germany has the entire handgun market cornered.

  • pretty nice gun2!

  • i have a walther p99. its the first gun i ever got and i love it.. but i doubt that i could freeze the slide and still shoot without crackin it

  • try it, i did, dont fuck with like liquid nitrogen though, i did mine on accident, some snow got in it ( i like in new york ) and it melted, and refroze, and i didnt know about it, cause a lot of it was on the inside. so i took it out, i shot, and it jarred back, and ice shards flew from the sides and ice powder shot out of the barrel, it was pretty neat

  • I own a Glock 34, Springfield XD 45, Beretta 96, Sig Sauer 220, Sig Sauer 239, Two HK Usp Tactical 45's and 3 Walther p99's to name a few. Of all the pistols I own, I can say without hesitation the p99 is my prefered weapon. The only think I dident like was that the 1st & 2rd generations dident not have weaver tac rail, but new models do.

  • Do you have the 9mm or .40 p99?

  • Really you like it more than the USP? I am going to get either this or a USP. Which is better? I thought for sure the HK was a little bit better. Off course it is also about $250-300 more than the Walther.

  • Well if you are thinking of accuracy then you should buy usp.

  • The Walther is a great little gun, fun to shoot too. The HK is a pure fighting gun meant to KILL KILL KILL and keep on running. I strongly reccomend the HK USP in .45 ACP. Anything less is.... well.... something less.

  • All pistols are designed to throw lead, and both the HK and Walther are great pistols. The major differences besides user, are how they firer, and end user preference. Also take some time and go check on your 45vsXXcal/mm information. You might find there is little difference in HP ammo.

  • there both made in germany too!

  • oooooo nice. i forgot the p99 is one of those awesome guns u can freeze and stuff and still fire it.

  • p99 is good but barrel is swelling...

  • WTF???? AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Actually there potatoes that are red and yellow.

  • Sigh... Glocks do NOT have a tenifer frame. Seriuosly, do some easy research before making statements like that. Tenifer is a metal treatment process, applied to the slide and barrel; not only Glock uses it. It's also used by Walther, S&W, and others.

The Glock frame is made of a nylon polymer, reinforced with metal in various places. It's not a tenifer frame.

  • Glocks shooot tenifer bullets.

  • no not true glocks have a (tenifer) frame. the grip is plastic

  • that 1911 is as good as broken. suprised there wasnt any sparks or detonation of he other bullets

  • I LOVE THIS GUN!!!

  • Walther P99's are awesome, but the shooting the 1911A1 was a bit silly.

  • Yeah, very silly.

  • There's just destroying the competition, like coke vs. pepsi.

  • but coke and pepsi are both even

glocks are the ones doing the damage

  • 1911 is the "ideal" handgun, the p99 is the underdog calling out the reigning champion...I don't know man, its a silly promo video, stop critiqueing it like its some oscar nominated movie!

  • the p99 is one of the best guns in the world

  • very nioe video, but unfortunately the gun has a weakness, i have bought 1st generation p99 9mm and the new p99 40 cal. and from my experience their firing pin easily breaks when you accidentally dry fire the gun, sa mga bro ko sa pinas, para sa akin hindi worth it and sakit ng ulo pag nabali ang firing pin, mahal yan at lumang stock, kun mayron man bka luma mabigay sa inyo, pano nyo malaman....d kinakalawang

  • one vere best gun in the world

  • Hah! take that .45 colt!

  • Isnt that a P99 AS? I wanna get a standart P99 but I can only find the AS in Turkey... Gotta search more...

  • The AS is the standard one. Anit-Stress is just a somewhat gimmicky name Walther coined in 2004 with the redesign.

  • I'd go with the QA(Quick Action), one of the biggest complaints with the p99 is the extremely long trigger pull, QA reduces that down to 5 lb vs. 11 lb

  • Walther is producing the best automatic pistols ever! Ok its a stupid promo vid, but everyone makes mistakes^^

  • I am completely speechless. O_o

  • Ok, so it's a stupid promo, by a stupid ad exec. No need to shit down Walther's throat for it. It's not like the Head On ads.

  • where can I find the entire video?

  • ok but the hit on the side of the 1911 was patheticly cliché and unrealistic.

And they never shown if the weapon cycled completely after shooting covered of ice.

  • It was actually a real shot.

Also, this is just some cut scenes from the whole movie from Walther. The weapon DID cycle.

  • I know it was a real shot. But that would never happen in a real life situation.

  • @phant0 I used to own this gun, It has a pretty light slide It wouldnt surprise me if it did cycle all the way covered in ice

  • @phant0 yeha, i wonder what kind of robot can do that under an stress condition. i would put 3 or four rounds on that guy as fast as i could, and i think most porfesional users would too.

  • I dont understand the horrified responses either. I thought it was cool.

  • I don't understand the horrified responses, i guess it's kind of stupid, but the slow motion high speed is fantastic, there is worse "shiat" out there

  • What the hell? Stupid as shiat.

  • Walther, you use to be cool :(

  • yeah right, the PPK is one of the most unreliable pieces of crap out there, p99 is atleast 90% more reliable not to mention cool looking polymer guns vs. Glocks

  • how often does the P99 jam?

  • Glocks are polymer Guns

  • I know, I was saying its cool looking for a polymer gun while Glocks are UGLY polymer guns.

  • so what

  • Like aesthetics aren't a factor in choosing a gun, anyone who likes the PPK would be lying to themselves if they denied it, as its shooting capabilities are glitchy at best.

  • What the hell, Walther? This is awful.

  • This is horrible!
