  • I would sure like to see how you set up your subsoiler to lay water pipe and cable. I found your video because I was trying to find a way to do this. How do you keep the cable or pipe from pulling up out of the ground as you pull it with the subsoiler? I would also like to see your setup to attach the cable to the subsoiler. Thanks

  • Another great video keep up the good work

  • the audio is mixed with the music.... sad...

  • get em pea nut, get em

  • mine is home built and it works really good and i use it to break up the clay every season.

  • turfgrass123, you are partially correct on the definition of what causes the hard pan. True, the depth of the hard pan is initiated by working the ground with equipment. Then, it is further defined and made worse as petroleum herbicides and pesticides settle in this zone. Today chemicals are available with only a few ounces per acre needed and that has help to reduce the problem.

But I highly recommend the subsoiler. I use one myself!

  • A subsoiler actually designed to create a hole in the hard pan caused by plowing at the same depth all the time. Research has been done that show roots will follow this opening.
