  • Amazing set up, Can you please tell me how to connect all those speakers together?? How many out from the mixer? How many speaker to speaker do you connect? sorry I am a beginner and please help me find out

  • @SuperErin21 Hi there Buddy, No Problem, I love to help and thanks for the Great comment! the speakers in this video I have are self powered meaning, each speaker has a amp built in it. If U have powered speakers U can hook however many together u want. in this Video I had 3 speakers on my left channel and 3 on my right, Ill be doing a video soon telling how I hooked it all up.

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Thank you so much :)

  • To set the levels of a sound system, Send a source through your mixer so that you are just below clipping the mixer. Then raise the levels of your amp/powered speaker so that it is just below clipping. This is the correct way to set your system. If you don't run your mixer into distortion, you will never run your speakers into clipping either. You don't lose power from your speakers by not having them turned up all the way. You can only take them up to the point of clipping anyway. Be safe.

  • @ScottParrWeddings Hi buddy thanks for posting the comment, but its not. If U set up your system that way the amps could pass High Harmonic Destortion, when that happens U can still chip the amps but the clip lights wont show it as clipping, this is where most owners make the mistakes like that, when that happens the voice coiles blow out and the ower cant figure out why cus the responce is I never saw my amps clip. Ive repaired a Number of broke down Crown amps from this very problem.

  • U get better preformance from the amp if the volume on it is all the way up amd U use ur mixer as the master. if Not Ull choke the amp, they can heat up faster. Not only that but the controls on a amp arnt really volume controls. there atenuators that turn up ant down the amps input. Ull get better preformance out of them if U run the volume wide open then Use ur masters on ur mixer

  • @BlastEntertainment84 THANK YOU SO MUCH! does this apply to external amps too ?

  • @hummurabi2010 Correct !! same goes for regular pa amps as well. if U pick a regular pa amp I would recommed Lab Gruppen, Crown, QSC or Crest amps.. These amp brands are pretty much standard in touring sound systems and are VERY reliable. any other question PLZ feel free to drop me a line anytime!!!

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Yup, that's the way it's supposed to be done ! Thanks for passing on the info to others, you saved them from destroying some of their equipments. I learnt the hard way though, before Internet !

  • @skayush Hi buddy, Thanks so much for your comment, I try to give helpful info if I can. I love anything that has to do with sound, and I so glad someone asked me about that, which was about how to run the amps volume controls cus I cant tell U how many amps Ive repaired dut to clipping and it came back to the amp being choked. volumes at half or 3/4 and the owners trying to push the mixer volume, amp went boom in a bad way. and thing else I can give info on let me know, HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!

  • okay this may be a dumb question but how do u play with the gain all the way up ? the master on ur mixer was be really low...? do u get better performance from it that way?

  • @djteknovibe I'm from the UK myself, sounds like theres a business opportunity there

  • nice speakers i just have one qsc 181i sub and 2 k-10s and it delivers some loud clear sound. qsc really has outdone itself with the k series.

  • @peterwo2e VERY VERY TRUE!!!!!! I think they have out done then selves 100%, Now the have the KW series, whats next?? LOVE the Kseries, they Just work and work well. Ive put the kseries agenst events where Ud think it wouldnt work well or be enough, the result was being booked again cus of how well the event went and that everyone could hear everything. These speakers are AMAZING in every way. ANY info I can help U with PLEASE feel free to contact me!

  • It's a shame that people from across the pond can't these outstanding speakers.

  • @mike31jmb TRUE!!!

  • @BlastEntertainment84 oops that was supposed to say "can't get/hear these outstanding speakers"

  • @djteknovibe Dude, the sound on the camera's microphone does not do justice to the fantastic sound coming from the QSC K speakers anyway. Why don't you go to your favorite DJ outlet and listen to it to feel the actual sound emanating from these superb speakers?

  • @djteknovibe Not that it would matter your listening to audio recorded through a camera mic, compressed by Youtube, and played back through your computer speakers. Not the same as listening live. Its great gear but, you'll never be able to tell via YouTube.

  • @djteknovibe its kool, I did that video to show what they can Handle, and the vid from the back is where I tryed to show that they sound just as good from the back as they do the front.

  • @djteknovibe Why Dont U watch my other Video Where I Do!

  • I bet you left the deep circuit in on the satellite cabs correct?

  • @mike31jmb No Sir, I had them set to Normal, Ive Noticed if I run them in Deep on the k12s, I cant get that much Volume before they clip. All the bass heard in the video came from the subs.

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Sounds great behind the speakers I can imagine what it sounded like in front of them. This is the best demo I've heard of the Ksubs.

  • @mike31jmb Thank you sir! I try to get the best Possible Videos before I put them on here. This was the best I could get with out my mic in my camera getting distorted. Im glad you liked the video. the subs are truly amazing. When I first got them QSC told me they had 2 12'' woffers in each sub. after I heard them I sayed..NO WAY their has to be an 18" woffer in there. so I took one apart and sure enough...(2) 12" drivers... I was BLOWN AWAY!

  • Thanks for the useful info ... I was thinking of getting the Qsub to go along with my Q8s . How are they ?....

  • @gomajeja They are AMAZING, the Ksub has (2) 12" woofers in the box. with the same amp as the k8/k10 and k12 speakers. 1000 watts. the sub is not to big BUT Not to small. they work GREAT if you use them indoors, at this event they preformed Very Well outside, But if you have a LARGE out door crowd U may have to use more subs with them. They have a tremendous amount of PUNCH. and the best part is they only weigh 74 pounds. 2 handles, 4 wheels, and QSC Gives U the pole that goes with the sub

  • hey man , I notice you turned the volume all the way up . Did you experience any clipping when you did this ?.

  • @gomajeja Hi There, thanks for your message, I have the volume Normally all the way up so I dont clip my mixers out put, I didnt have any clipping from the speakers this way. But here is some GOOD info for you, on any amp or powered speaker, Run your vol. control at max and use your mixer to get the loudness you want, This is easier on the amp. and these QSC speakers are AMAZING! any other questions you have PLEASE send them to me as I LOVE to teach and help out others with equipment like this.
