i attended a weding in new waterford, n.s. years ago as carl and dougie macphee played. the acoustics were top notch and the music was as good as it gets!!

We heard Carl do a set at a little program set up to support a local church when on vacation in Cape Berton -- then we were lucky enough to choose a table that he and his daughters were sitting at later at a luncheon after the program. Wonder man, wonderful family and great musician. I think they were a bit surprised that we knew who he was and that we had most of his CD's! (<:

Carl Mackenzie is one of the greatest musicians to ever touch an instrument. Yet most of the people in the world have never heard his music. Please post more of this clip or any other music By Carl. Get the word out about this music master and champion of beautiful music. The world sure needs his beautiful music. Go Carl Go, you are incredible.

Rubiotwirls: You're 100% right about Carl. I've heard Carl play at casual sessions and you would certainly appreciate him that much more if you were luck enough to attend one. Carl made several Commercial recordings that turned out quite nice.
