  • lol that was so funny what the C,O was saying, and them 74 days later out come the white flag lol

  • /watch?v=QnbdXWvmysg

  • Love the part where he says "There not eithen use to the cold" hm ok thats why we got rain almost every bloody week lol.

  • The bottom line is the Falklands control the sea lanes around the tip of South America.

The British with US complicity will never hand it back to Argentina. If you are Argentinian stop worrying about it, It's gone thanks to the old military regime!

  • I said that the Argies have no chance of winning today.

    Also it's "you're" not "your".

  • @feindhortmi Yeah their pride is what's going to get them another slap I'm afraid. It's going to be allot harder for Argentina/South America today because the islands are now a massive military base and we can fly in an entire infantry battle group as well as Typhoons/GR4's etc within 48-72 hours. The massive airbase is defended by Rapier & we have at least one SSN patrolling that region. Then there's the type 45 that needs to introduction. That will neutralize the entire South American airforce

  • lol they arnt used to the cold? HAHA come to the highlands of scotland during the summer and you will know cold

  • argentines are dirty fighters. they got what they deserved in the school house

  • Not in a million years mate. Have a look at the British fighting history. The answer to your question is written in the blood of history. We never give in, give up, or lay down.

  • @TheMrgaztop

huhu, just look at it at wikipedia

    Treaty of London (1604)

  • Britain bloody well knows what the cold is lol

  • 2/3 of all the deaths in this conflict where Argentinian.

If Argentina government are smart they will manipulate the liberal media and make use of the growing resentment between Britain and various European countries for into signing that god awful EU treaty.

I can assure you if things get more heated up France and maybe even Germany will not back the UK.

  • @MrDeludedPenguin Honestly, if I was the Argentinian leader and the the kill to death ratio was 1:2 I would be extremely happy. It was conscripts with second rate equipment against a modern westernized military. The Argentinian preformed extremely well with what they had.

  • Agreed, but I'm not talking about the 1982 conflict. I'm talikng about the present situation.

  • Esto que ven es una parte de la película Argentina "Iluminados por el fuego", ficción basada en la guerra de Malvinas. This is a piece of a movie called "Illuminated by fire", a fiction based on the Malvinas war.

  • They spent all there days in ships training

  • a King King?, i dont know but i think a legacy is meanless if the one who receive it its just a puppet of this world, i think a real King-Queen, is one who cares about the people, about what happens on them, dont send his/her own children to die for nothing, and any other thing is considered an act of pure selfish.

  • what i learn is that life is the only reason that exists and NOONE, NON A SINGLE PERSON has the right to kill another or send it to die for any reason, a country dont worth a single life of anyone and the only legit reason to do it is to save another. but any soldier argentinian or Englisman who dies in this case , just gives the most precious gift, the life, just to make rich a "Queen", a "General" or any title u wanna put, and I wonder, what makes a Queen queen?

  • @yamipablo You have a very valid point.

  • @nipplebrush Thank you very much for your comment, I just hope our countrys make some instrospection about if it "Exist" a valid point to support any critical action because and as u probabbly saw our president just keep breaking the balls of England in a very rude way which makes reference to the sadest point of both countries, i mean both of us have some dirty cloth that we dont feel proud, and i think is an unecessary and very low way to make politics

  • @yamipablIt Politicians are always low & underhand. The rest of us have to grin & bear it...

  • Im Argentine and as my comment b4, i want to explain some facts about it, we were at a military goverment at that time which slaughter more than 30000 civilians for nothing, create a war to mantain some kingd of power, while the people here where suffering, And almost 90% of the people were oposite of the war, but if u open the mouth at that time,u probabbly "dissapear" by the goverment. Im totally oposite of a war as many people,is just a reason to feed the riches, and makes the poor more poor.

  • @yamipablo Best comment I've read so far. If you've not lived under such a regime then my guess is you don't have a clue. For example, does anybody really believe that all the Germans who died in WW2 were Nazis.

  • @dogma01011951 Ty very much for the complishment (sorry if thats not the exact therm to eligize my what u wrote, im spanish talker lol). And I live the first 15 years of my life inside that regime (not the German, i mean the Argentine Military goverment) and it was tragic know people who dissapear, and also know about the Black Ops of the goverment leading helicopters and planes towards the city leading to the sea to drop Live people inside the sea just for think diferent, people who are now

  • @yamipablo part of the history, inside the 30000 dissapeared people. Unfortunally, we live in a world where Basic insticts and unfinish greed seems to be more than the love and the good legacy that our parents or friends give us, My personal way of think is that we are here to share, and we just left to our graves only the life experience and knowledge we get everyday, we dont need more than that its like the tale about the glass on water in the desert and the 1000Kg of gold

  • @yamipablo No worries. Your English is a lot better than my Spanish believe me.

  • For those who see this, this is a movie, not the real combat, And this is to show what the conditions of the ARS forces during the war , and how they´re own commanders practically kills they´re own soldiers sending no food, potable water, and not professional soldiers, all those real childs on the islands, the 90% were conscripts on the obligatory millitary service that last 12 months, so those kids, without training make front to the second army in the world

  • 52 Argentines disliked this,,

  • fuck england and his stupid queen

  • @rardock argentina tried that in 1982 and was humiliated

  • Comment removed

  • HELLO I'M ARGENTINE THE WAR BEGAN WHEN WE ARE IN DICTATORSHIP when the war dictators WERE YOU FOR BRITISH GAIN (MY ENGLISH IS NOT VERY GOOD XD)

  • @NOSE31273 You are not a dictatorship now but your Government is trying to cause trouble for votes I do not see the deference the junta went to war for popularity apart from the fact we now have the Falklands well defended and Argentine are not capable of mounting attack they would be destroyed if they tried it

  • LOL those argentine idiots trying to shoot a harrier with a gimpy

  • @slewntus Ascension island ( Widewake) is a British airport - the UK allows the yanks to use the facilities there

  • Purple ...Without the AIM 9L Sidewinders (The RAF didn't have any at the time) and the jet fuel at Ascencion Island, both provided by "Regal Ronnie", reclaiming the Falklands would've been far more costly....if it would've happened at all.

  • Does anyone, Brit hater or not, honestly believe that Argentina could defeat Britain? I am Canadian and have no axe to grind but honestly folks, do the math. There's no way Argentina could win.

  • @feindhortmit I got your back pal . Im a kiwi I love britan.

  • @TYLERSARMY

    Cheers, friend.

  • @feindhortmit allgoods Pal Add me on fb T John Commandos Sayer

  • @feindhortmit right now we couldnt defeat anyone, but back in the day victory wasnt as away as most people believe, if it had been carefully planned argentina could have won fairly easily, but again the Junta apparently didnt have much brains despite being "men of arms"

  • @feindhortmit British troops are among the very best in the world, if not the best.

  • @FallFanCan

How could anyone possibly disagree with that statement?

  • @feindhortmit On paper yes, the British were a lot stronger, but u have to realize how far away the Falklands were in relation to both Argentina and Britain. The British war machine was useless if it couldn't get there to fight. The British had no way to deploy fighters over the Falklands (Harriers only) and no way to easily resupply their fleet. The thinking was that due to Argentina being so much closer, the Argentines could more effectively deploy their forces, thus leveling the battlefield.

  • @peteyc226 Yes, I know all this. I'm not sure why your telling me though.

  • @feindhortmit because u said Argentina had no chance of winning and your wrong. They had a big chance of winning.

  • @peteyc226 The Argies biggest chance at winning was by sinking one of our carriers. As soon as the British Army got on shore it was a foregone conclusion mate. Not a single battle lost. It may hurt some people's pride to admit it but the British Army was and is far superior to any South American Army. Only a hater/idiot would deny it. There's no shame in it. Britian has been fighting for a 1000 years +

  • @feindhortmit I'm Argentinian, and Yeah, we had a big chance of winning that war, but honestly i'm glad we did not..... Because of those crazy dictators we had at that time.... With months of real preparation, that war could have been easy to force negotiations with UK. Anyway, that war was madness from the begining...

  • @LordNekoSama

I agree with you. I just hope that the current stupidity doesn't boil over into a war.

  • @feindhortmit im english and my misses is canadian, so hi nice to see a canadian on here, well i done the math as you asked lol and we would win in less than 74 days this time my bets on 63, but we could do it quicker with canadas help, oh hang on isent canadas queen elizabeth the same elizabeth that is uk queen. and i wounder if the canadain forces make an Allegiance to the queen ....oh the answer is yes to all the above,, someone let the arges no, they could get hammered

  • Argies, face down in the dirt....... They're good at that I guess.

  • well I hope it doesnt happen, for the Royal Navy and the Air Fleet Arm to perform well, we need those super aircraft carriers HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales. At least one would do. At least in 1982 we he had the harriers and HMS Ark Royal to rely on. right now the RN has lost its teath, going to war with the argies could mean a long drawn out battle until we have the equipment.

  • @FletchRDG We have an aircraft carrier with RAF Typhoons on Mount Pleasant which is enough to repel any argentine invasion.

  • @EddieExile well we have an air force 7 times the size of theirs, a navy 5 times larger then theirs but army wise, we have half the amount of vehicles and artillery they have but we have a battlefield discipline like no other country so i guess that makes up for it. Their heaviest tank though is a 30.5 ton TAM with an out-dated 105mm gun with 236 in service, our challenger a 62.5 ton 120mm heavy tank with 408 in service.

  • @FletchRDG They would never be able to land an invasion force because their ships would be sunk with missiles and their planes would be blown out of the sky.

And as you say their soldiers would be no match for the British army anyway.

  • @EddieExile how did we get a carrier onto Mount Pleasant?

  • @chanctonbury63 We built a runway and hangars.

  • @EddieExile Landing an aircraft carrier on a runway could be challenging.

  • @chanctonbury63 very likely if you tried to land a carrier on a carrier

  • @FletchRDG Even with all the military cuts, the British Frces are far superior. It will never come to that anyway.

  • It is a great shame Regal Ronnie wouldn't let the UK have ANY support from the US. So they had Vulcans that were outfitted to be tankers and this was what allowed the longest bomb run in aircraft history by a Vulcan. The Vulcan could have probably able to give more service to the UK had they not ground up the Vulcan's to powder. Look at the B-52s and the service they gave to the US. The Vulcans were built about the same time as the B52 and would have given the UK a worldwide punch.

  • @purplepimpernel They made the Vulcan at BAE in Woodford Cheshire. Now the site is being turned into housing, the site is being torn down as we speak....What a shame but i still remember seeing fly over head, and the noise....nothing sounds like it

  • @purplepimpernel

The USA, thorough Secretary Casper Weiberger, did support the U.K. with upgraded Sidewinder missiles for example.

Ronnie wouldn't side with a lode of spics over his tutor Maggie Thatcher,

  • Sea Harrier seems to be supersonic in this movie :D

  • @johnnyjrotten. What are you on about "cruelty in northern Ireland? It's British because they want to be British. Except fir the minority who used terrorism and murder to try to change that.

  • I feel sorry for the argies. Are the falkland islands all you gave to get you through and feel pride as a nation? We on the other hand are defending British citizens from an envious tin pot country who can't even treat their own people decently.

  • At no time in history other than for a few weeks in 1982 had Argentina ever have thier flag in the soil of The Falkland group of islands. I do not follow the logic of the nationalistic propogandists of that country???? During 1982 the failure that was the dictatorship of the Argentine Junta, needed to divert attention away from thier murders of their own citizens at the time. Ironically UK govt also needed somthing to take attention away from their cruelty that exsted in Northern Ireland!!!

  • its a shame that fucking slag cunt magaret wasnt there on the island , as i would like to see her get murdered, shes a fucking cunt

  • @beamprimary Oops, Mr Dictionary seems to have deserted us...

  • fuck the argies

  • yeah what the brit said

  • My lord, this is an Argentine ANTI-WAR movie. British trolls go somewhere else.

  • my grandfather was in the British Army at this time! if we go to far there again I'm signing right up!

  • whats this movie called, please tell me????????

  • @bellyboy60 "iluminados por el fuego" de Tristan Bauer

  • @bellyboy60 "Carry on losing"

  • el teniente habla como mexicano

  • the only reason argentina wants the falklands is because it has oil, and they are prepared to trample all over the falkland islanders right to self determination to get what they want. well argies, you want to try again? think englands gone soft? try it, we beat your sorry asses on your home turf last time--we Will do it again next time.

  • @iratecabbie spot on

  • @iratecabbie Argentina wants the Falklands not because of oil, but because they honestly see it as their lands. This is evident by the fact they attacked in 1982, before oil was discovered there.

  • cerdos ingleses de mierda mueran con todo y su reina de mierda

  • @MIG35X shut up loser

  • fuck you england! Kelpers go home! everybody hates british people around the world!! Malvinas Argentinas!!!!

  • 1:35 "preparing our defence for months".... Well that held well, maybe they should have packed bullets instead of white flags. The Argies had 100 times as many troops surrender as the Brits. 250 mile supply line - FAIL for Argies

2:00 "Brits not used to the cold" LOL

But Argies you should really thank us Brits, we brought your Junta down, something you could not do for 20 years we did in weeks. Just think few years before they were killing your own in the "Dirty War" So we saved you Argies

  • @DoctorEnzo we saved you??? what the fuck are you talking about??go get a history book!!

  • @lucasola96 Its you that needs to get a history book, well at least one made out side of ArgieLand. Galtieri was the junta he was in power in 82 and ordered the illegal invasion of the Falkland Islands. The Argies lost, and lost big time.

Galtieri was removed, the Junta lost its grip and ArgieLand got its first FREE elections for a LONG time. So yes we saved you from the Junta who killed tens of thousands of Argies and many more simply "disappeared" THE BRITS SAVED ARGIELAND

  • @DoctorEnzo I think the island are for UK. because the British colonized the islands in 1690. "geographically" are for argentina but the islands were uninhabited in that time. You will listening all this crap these days but you must know that all this is a politician movement from our president Cristina Kirchner just to fight with the oposition and won more adepts, that's it no more no less. The argentinians are fools and the inglish are fool because nobody see what I say. I'm Argentinian

  • @Bimbabimbeta02 The Brits would have been happy to share the bounty, well maybe not 50/50 but they would have given jobs and so on to Argentina.

I think the UK would have prefered a deal, but 82 put a end to that. All the threats calmed down, but Kercher just turned the heat up again, putting the relationship back 25 years.

Now she wonders why we put on a show of force...its her fault for rocking the boat and not trying to get the best for Argentiana, she has jsut isolated you.

  • @Bimbabimbeta02

Kirchner needs to read two things

    UN Resolution 2065

    UN Resolution 1514 (XV)

These are near 40 years old, and still she cant accept them.

The UN accept its up to the islanders to decide and they have.

So Argentina can either take by force, or forgot the claim and get down to doing deals.

But the Brits dont trust your goverment after WW2...its not the people we hate just your crazy leaders, and she + sean penn are making the issue far worse.

  • @DoctorEnzo I don’t remember exactly why but here the politicians of the "Oficialismo" Kircher and supporters discuss over if the islanders can choose or not what they want ‘cause they are Not a country like Puerto Rico they are a British colonization, that would be subjective because they already have a lot of British culture but as I said before this is just for an internal political fight between the president and the internal politicians of the opposition. Just to won more followers

  • @Bimbabimbeta02 Typical tactics, start this macho talk in the hope it makes you popular, or to divert from another negative story...like inflation in Argentina.

It does not work in 2012 maybe it did in 1912. The West have already twisted this against Argentina and now it a joke. Sean Penn has just made it worse as has Chavez.

Kicher thought this would help but its not....Penn is a lunatic..She is trying to play with people who are letting her walk into a trap.

  • @Bimbabimbeta02 Its a game but one we play better, Kirchner says "We want islands" the UK respond by sending a Prince....The UK time this so its not at the time to mark 30 years...he leaves just before, so we get off clean ... it was a 6 week job....we can show its "routine" but its a slap in the face for all the shit she has been talking in last few months. Then she makes this far worse by standing behind Sean Penn....A stupid actor....she is playing this all wrong

  • @Bimbabimbeta02 What she should have done....

Made out Argentina wants peace, and repects the UN and islanders wishes.....built relations with the Brits and Islands...and the start sending people over (like the spanish did in 1600 with Latin America) Over 20 years you would have bred so many on the quiet....then you do a vote for joining Argentina (in line with UN rules) and maybe they would vote your way......but now that wont happen she played with bad tactics.

  • @DoctorEnzo They just talk that the British want them ‘cause the Petroleum,Oil, command center to watch all america and stuff. Me? I don’t even care about two frozen island Britsh or Argentinian that I never ever will visit. (Sorry if you don’t understand something I just use the translator) but I think you understand my point.

  • @Bimbabimbeta02 No one really cares about the islands here either. Its now about oil, but we can take the high ground and pretend we care about some rocks in the ocean thanks to 1982.

  • what movie is this from, i want to see the whole thing

  • @RurickTheGreat 'Illuminados por el fuego' (Blessed by Fire) 2005

  • @mmp11 Actually, I think very few people here hate Argentina, and those that do aren't really worth considering. Most don't really care at all about the Falklands, or wouldn't have it they weren't attacked. Even the Conservative government had been trying to quietly get rid of the islands before the invasion.

  • what was this war really about? to save Galtiery's gov? for all their economic failures?so many ppl died needlesly for the arogance n pride of Galtiery the Brtitish offered Argentina a compromise if i remember right a kind of jointly runing the falklands it would a been so much better specially for Argentina n the ppl of the Falkland islands better for everybody But some ppl mistake someone's willingness to compromise as weakness inatead of respect

  • @polygamous1 it was actually about saving the goberment ass that was declining in populary and crediblity.

this was was useless and invented by galteiri, i actually don't understand the hate between us and british people

  • @mmp11 there is no hate as such becase either right after the Falklands war the British lifeboats went out in attrocious conditions n saved Agrentinian sailors as their ship was sinking in rough weather this is Really admirable n very generous for blokes to risk their own lives to save the lives of others who's countrymen attacked their own ppl i just hope ppl appreciate this just imagine u r home in bed but et up n leave our wife n children risk your life to save the "enemy" exceptional

  • @polygamous1 It would not have been better for anybody. All it would have shown is that aggression and invasion would be rewarded and go unpunished.

  • @chanctonbury63 maybe i didn't explain myself well all i wanted to say was the Argentinians should have never invaded in the firs place once they did Britain had no choice but respond

  • Hang on, you missed Lebanon from that list up there. Marine barracks, embassy, all gone.....And then the Yanks were gone too

  • On June 3, 1982, Brazilian F-5 Tiger II jets intercepted a British Vulcan strategic bomber en route to the Ascension Island after bombing Argentine positions in the Falkland Islands. The aircraft was forced to land at the Galeão Air Force Base in Rio de Janeiro, where the crew and aircraft were imprisoned. After diplomatic negotiations with the UK, the aircraft and crew were released on June 11. However, the Sidewinder missiles and AGM-45 were confiscated by the Brazilian authorities.

  • Wow, and then you, Che Guevara and Bolivar would conquer Texas and California and liberate those lands after your "Mal Vina" liberation?? Hush now, you couldnt train shit to smell. As for you, speaking of tosspots, why don;t you go and rage in your pub about how all the Pakis are ruining your town or go play with tin redcoat soldiers to re-capture a lost empire. The truth of the matter is simple: de facto and de jure the Falklands are British. End of story. Get over it everyone.

  • screw the gurkhas screw the gurkha.......VROOOOM BANG BANG BANG BOOOM. thay could have never won we were too good for them oh and we had the gurkhas on our side

  • "not used to the cold" were from england lol, do they even know where that is

  • All that talk and then they all shit their pants when a Harrier flies over..

  • THE ISLANDS ARE ARGENTINA!!! CARAJO!!!

  • @GOWAgus

Except they are a British overseas territory, both legally and factually. They don't belong to Argentina in any meaningful way. Never have. .. Never will with the current Argentinian attitude. You want them?...Go take them. No?

  • @knutgordon ok lol idiot ... I want to face you fucking pirate ...

  • This time the war is between South America and EU!

  • what film is this from? been desperate to see it but I never found out the title

  • @LibCon00 The movie's name in English is "Blessed by Fire", in Spanish it's "Iluminados por el Fuego".

  • Comment removed

  • @LibCon00

Its from "Blessed by fire" - an Argentinean movie about the Falklands veterans. It shows events from two of their conscripts perspective - pawns in a political game battling supply shortage, cold, boredom and abuse as they await the arrival of British forces, relationships between soldiers and officers, the war itself, and the psychological scars they faced afterward.

  • @cibernetico73

The UK is happy with the current status - it is old plastic face Kirchner trying to stir things up to divert attention from argentina's economic problems.

  • I feel for the poor Soldiers in the video. those guys had little training and hardly any supplies and were in miserable conditions, led by incompetent selfish officers. The Brits, though their armed forces are small. have one of the most professional Armed forces in the world. All these guys wanted was to just go home,

  • malvinas argentinas

  • @NaahuGrz Say it all you like they're British and that's how they're going to stay.

  • @19780433 Keep that pacifier in your mouth, while LATIN AMERICA PREPARES FOR A SECOND ROUND!

  • @03Terrestre: Este comentario es una reverenda boludez.

  • @03Terrestre Oh yeah because that worked soooo well last time, perhaps if you got an army together that didn't comprise of schoolboys with pre ww2 kit you wouldn't all get slaughtered but then again you never were the brightest people on the planet it's why you lost and it's why your going to again if you ever try.

  • @19780433 It's not if we'll EVER try but, we WILL INVADE AGAIN. You stupid English queers don't understand do you?

  • @03Terrestre Oh you mean start paddling across in what boats you've got left after last time and give our eurofighters something to shoot at, that'll definitely work, what's the plan hope we run out of ammunition or just take pity on you all?

  • @19780433 I see you English are having economic problems ay? It's all catching up to you fools.

  • @03Terrestre Please continue with your tirade of inept flaming.

BTW, the nation is GREAT BRITAIN, not England, you stupid greasy little His-Panic nobody.

  • @crapatev Argentina's GDP is growing faster than England's. Stats show that Argentina's will pass up England's.

  • @03Terrestre £1 says your wrong. its actually alot of money to them argies

  • @03Terrestre I admire your pluck.

  • @crapatev Pluck?

  • @03Terrestre pluck: vigour, courage, nerve, guts, heart

  • @crapatev Hey, thanx. You can't be all that bad after those words. Cheers then, or as we Hispanics say, Salud!

  • @03Terrestre ;-)

  • @03Terrestre The GDP of Argentina in 2010 was US$ 370m. The GDP of the UK in the same year was US$ 2.25bn. In 2012 the Argentinian economy is estimated to grow by 4.3%. If the UK economy experienced nil growth (it is actually forecast at 2.2%) then it would take 43 years to pass Englands. So yes if the UK economy never grew ever again then Argentina will over take it at the rate it is currently growing. But thats a pretty unlikely scenario. Do I win a £1?!

  • @19780433 Tbh its rather sad of you to be so hostile. We are letting the people of the Falklands decide which country they want to rule them not enforcing it on them like the Argentines want to do. Enforcing your rule over a small island domain sounds for imperialist does it not? we're not enforcing our rule, you want to...who sounds like the evil colonialists? because I can assure you its not the United Kingdom.

  • When the Argentines surrendered and the British took control of Stanley once more, they found that the enemy soldiers had shit and pissed all over peoples houses, personal belongings, in Government buildings they had wiped shit all over the walls, even the ceilings. If you ever want to know what kind of nature or mentality the Argentinians have, just keep this in mind. Dirty bastards.

  • @sam19771977 we should just throw soap at them, all the weapons we need, send the dirty scum running for miles

  • @sam19771977 If that is what happend, it was to show the English rats what they thought of them, English are crap!

  • @03Terrestre You invaded the Falklands to demonstrate to rodents what you thought of them?! How strange.

  • @sam19771977

And these racial/cultural slurs are a"fact" because? I take for granted that you are too immature and simplified to be able to come up with something substantial. As far as warfare goes Falkland war was rather clean. Occupied without any bloodshed, No civilians killed, wounded, tortured, raped, beaten, or otherwise psychically harmed during the period of occupation. Can the same thing be said about British occupations in the last decade?.

  • @knutgordon Sorry but you will find, if you research properly, this is a fact recorded by quotations held by the Imperial War Museums "Sound Archive" and which formed the basis of the book Forgotten Voices of the Falklands by Hugh McManners. As for comparing the Argentine invasion/illegal occupation of the Falklands with British participation in the liberation of people who suffering under invading/occupying forces the comparison is so stupid as not to warrant any further comment.
