  • Love

  • sounds amazing but i would love to here the kit with no EQ. Taye are some of the best drum I ever heard or had the privlage to play you dont need all that eq to make these drums sing

  • I have an old one of these.... the best I ever had. Hardware isn't great, but the drums make up for it big time. I am a Taye fan.

  • drumgasm!!! OMG what a sound!!

  • they sound amazing

but id like to know how hard rock/metal would sound on this kit

  • @darksymphonybass Taye Artist, Garin Rosen (Arsonists Get All The Girls), uses a Taye StudioMaple. Might want to check out his recordings.

  • @TayeDrumsHD NOWAY!!!!

I JUST FOUND MY NEW DRUM COMPANY!

  • @darksymphonybass iwrestledabearonce use one....idk what model though

  • @thyartismurder1 he uses gretsch drums?

  • @darksymphonybass ohh...well in one video he had a taye bass drum head i guess

  • @darksymphonybass Yeah, Mike Montgomery from Iwrestledabearonce uses a Gretsch Renown Maple series.

  • @xxxPinkyGSterxxx i knew i wasnt going crazy xD

  • I love everything but the snare.

  • Could you tell us what the cymbals are in this vid?

    Love the HH sound

  • @libirm I apologize, but I do not have this information. Let me see what I can do and get back to you. Which drummer's cymbals are you referring to, the first or second solo?

  • @TayeDrumsHD

    First- thanks

  • @TayeDrumsHD

    First solo - thanks

  • @libirm from the picture it looks like a Zildjian K or K custom, HH at least

  • great day in the morning sound so good

  • what mics and signal chain were used to capture the kits sound?

  • Comment removed

  • Great drums! Recently played them live concert.

  • great sounding drums and even better drummer! Can you tell me his name?

  • @NikeDrums Dave Langguth (0:00-1:24) and Erik Albers (1:25-End)

  • Could you tell me how to make a kit sound similar to the Golden Amber kit?

  • I have the SM522 fusion kit. I wish i would have got the 16" foor tom though. But still incredibly sounding kit.

  • what was the dimensions of the kit that dave used? i love those sounds!

  • @MATTlovesDRUMS Sorry for the delay on this. Not sure if I ever got back to you on this. Dave used a 10"x8.5", 12"x9", 14"x11", 15"x12" rack toms, 14"x5" snare, and a 22"x18" kick.

  • Is it possible to make the bebop kit sound like this? Im interested in those drums because of the sizes but I don't really play bebop kind of music I play more rockish stuff and if I could make my drums sound like that I'd buy that set in no time! Thanks :)

  • @simplisticninja

Aside from the difference in shell depth, the StudioMaple BeBop uses the same exact shell specs as the standard StudioMaple, therefore you will get the same tonality that you hear here. Your only problem may be that smaller kick, the 18"x16". You may not be able to get that big rock sounding kick drum from that small of bass drum. It all depends though, you can do a lot in the studio. Mics and signal processors have a lot to do with the resulting sound.

  • i know what drumset im getiing next

  • wow those drums sound amazing ! I learned a lot about drums in general from the vid. Next kit is definitely a Taye kit.

  • man, i still have my taye birch rockpro, and i recently bought a used gms se kit, but man oh man how i wish i had gone with taye:( TAYE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVE EVER!

  • javaburst = sex

amazing video quality, too... great job on this

  • hahaha!!! Your words are greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • @ChrisBakerDrummer Im just curious, how much did the javaburst cost for you, I'm highly interested in purchasing the stuido maple java burst 6 piece SM620J- JVB. I'd love to purcahse those drums and perhaps even become a future endorser of taye drums.

  • Sent a PM

  • I play Tourpro kit...really nice! :-)....thanks Taye!

    fusion kit

  • what finish?

  • Black Walnut....SD 14x5,5, BD 20, TT 10 12 14

  • Very impressive sounding drums. I also realize it has a lot to do with where they were recorded and by what equipment. You definitely did these drums as much justice as possible, which is a mistake that most companies make. Not doing as much as they can as you have. The playing is also quite stellar. With so many drum choices out there, it's a really tough buying decision in this price segment, but you did your part!!

  • Thank you very much

  • Excellent video! Really displays the true sound and beauty of the StudioMaple!

  • i play the rock pro line in jet black finish...as a versatile drummer, i will eventually want a studio maple kit...probably in the java burst finish or the golden amber finish...i love you, taye drums!

  • Thank you for the support brother!

  • I play Golden Amber....they stay in tune amazingly!!!

  • Honey amber is sweet, but I like my Naturals

  • mmmmmmm...those toms sound so nice. clear and open.
