How come every damn roughnecking video has some fag talking shit 'bout "Haw, that's not roughnecking! . .etc" Most of us probably worked on old rigs, threw a chain, ran a cathead, but it's a different time, i'm glad I worked my way up to a Cadillac rig. Why so much shit talkin' on every damn vid? Don't hate cause you're stuck on some piece o shit rig that's soon to get stacked 'cause your dumb ass couldn't find a nice rig to stay on for more than a couple of months!
that is pretty damn ass slow.. I drilled on a top drive, our board camera was fucked up, so my derrickman had to guide me into the top.... so my BUW(gripper) was not on the hard band. We would try to have our pump-to-pump time to under 1 minute 50 seconds.
A driller once asked me why I had a lunch with me I told him to eat at lunch time he told me lunch time is either in the truck on the way to work or in the truck on the way home.
I did it the old fashioned way and this looks a hell of a lot smarter and easier. the bottom line is, they are still roughnecking and as my driller once told me "hand, if you're close enough to the work to get dirty, you ain't makin' no money".
