@owenhinton At first I thought it was some type of speaker strobe the way it sounds. Since most of them do have a siren style sound to them. And some they can disable the sound and announce over the fire alarms with a microphone hooked into the system.

@DigiTan000 What the other poster was saying was that there are panels that can do voice but if the contractors don't select the option then it doesn't do it. The EST 2 and 3 and The Simplex 4100 series all have the capability of doing voice but they can also run horns.
