@SofeaOrfaelia Extra virgin olive oil is the first oil you get from the olives, virgin is the second and olive oil is what you get from the leftovers... So extra virgin is the best choice...

I HATE THE TASTE OF OLIVE OIL! so i dont drink it unless I cook with it. But anyway I made this scrub with Cinnamon, Honey and olive oil and almond oil from the almond butter. The best almond oil or almond butter to get is at an organic store like Sprouts or Natural Grocures, because they dont have the chemicals in them to make them fresh.

I actually use olive oil once a week on my entire head including my routes, then i cover my head with a plastic cap and let it sit for an hour, then i wash it off, but i usually have to shampoo twice because it does get greasy. This is amazing for hair loss, helps strengthen hair from root to ends!! And keeps hair shiny

Olive oil also contains antioxidants which help prevent wrinkles, as you get older.

And a little tip: When olive oil is to be eaten, which is its main use, it should be as fresh as possible. The best would be of the same years harvest.

Whereas for external use it should be older, 2 or 3 years. Because fresh it contains too much acid and could irritate your skin slightly, especially after shaving.

And if you are going for quality, you should try Greek or Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Best!!

You can actually use Oliver Oil on your scalp.. I had a form of exema in/on my scalp, so my scalp was really dry and i had sires becauSe it was itchy, and i used Oliver Oil on my scalp, and it really helped (though it's a pain in the arse to wash out)

i will never ever use it on my face to remove make up or on my legs to shave, coz olive oil realy helps the hair grow stronger so if i use it on face or legs infact it means i want stronger hair for next time, but yes i will use it on my eyelid which realy helps the lashes grow longer and fuller in just 2 weeks. try it and see how it works :)

@arielarelx3 Nope. Vegetable oil doesnt have the same effect. BUT, you can maybe use Almond oil and coconut oil. Not for all the 9 uses, but some of them :) just DONT use vegetable oil! Buy some olive oil, its expensive, but totally worth it :)

olive oil will jam up your razor quick. I agree putting olive oil in your bath water is nice, and makes your skin feel amazingly soft afterwards, but when I do that I won't shave because even the diluted oil from the bathwater will still cause the razor to jam up and will ruin it, you'll be lucky if you get one leg shaved. I definitely don't recommend the tip to use it in place of shave gel.

Any hair conditioner works well (better, imo) in place of shave gel.

My hair was left so greasy for a while and it did absolutely nothing for my hair! :( Eggs in hair are just the same as far as doing nothing, except they left my hair even more brittle. I say use conditioner and other things meant for the hair / formulated for hair..all of the so-called organic things just haven't worked :/ (maybe they will for others?)<3

Soo here's a funny story.... i had reallly dry hair as it was winter, so i decided to put olive oil on it. i put it in my roots and the rest of my hair, and waited. Welll i fell asleep with it in. ARGHHH! it seriously took me three showers of triple shampooing and no conditioner to get all the oil out. yeeahhh, don't do this :)
