OK, at 4:52 he has an all blue side, but for me my top corners are all the same color but the top edge is different. So on the orange face the bottom layer and middle layer is all orange but the top layer is red blue red, and its like that all around but for the green face its blue red blue, then for red face its orange green orange, then for the blue face its green orange green. Please help me. WHAT DO I DO lol thanks for the tutorials by the way :D

Any side can be the back if all sides have same colored corners. Just do the algorithm and it will set it right.

This is the way I learned to do the Rubiks Cube.

I learned it from a page on a document though, took me 2 days to remember it off the top of my head.

Although I get confused watching you do it, because in my head I say 'up-accross-up-back accross, etc) I don't do front/side/back/top lower.

But this is the quickest/easist way to learn how to do a Rubiks cube imo.

I learned most of it one night, and then learnt the rest the next day. Then by the end of the day I had memorized every move. :)

Everytime I do this step I get the whole top face yellow but then I always get a side on top layer with 3 same colors... you understand? For example right now I have the top with all yellow and on the first layer on the front face I have green green green. The 2 layers on bottom of the 3 greens are all blue. Should I turn the greens to complete the green face right now or should I not touch anything and keep doing this step til I get all the corners the same color as their center?

@Queenminny26 Remember, as I said at about 1:36, you don't need to look at the top edge pieces. We are looking for two adjacent top corners which have the same color on one face. So that one face you see with green-green-green is the one you want to put as your back face. It's not necessary to turn it and match it with the green side right now, but you can if you want...then you would put the green face as your back. Once you do the move, all your corners should be solved :-)

I never took the time to solve a rubik's cube until coming across this video. I have now mastered the 3x3x3 rubik's cube and able to complete it in less than 50 seconds. However, I think it's important to mention there is one turn left out of the algorithm in this step. The final step is actually turning Top clockwise. Take a look at the final turn taking place at 5:51 in this video. Overall, Great tutorial! ~JG~

At the end of this video I had the two complete sides and two sides that were not complete but all of the top corners were in the correct place. What would I do in this case? Allan's wasn't working for me.

@ChelseaALindsay That only occurs if the pieces have fallen out (or taken out) and not put back correctly. Only way you'll be able to solve it is to take those two pieces out and put them in the correct positions. Then your cube will be solvable and it won't happen again.
