Ok so far the PSN forums are down and i recently bought a new PS3 Slim, i plug it in and start it up. after the language selection it just gives me a blank black screen. anyone got a solution for this? i know it isnt my TV or my cables or anything because it could show Sony and also the language selection just fine.

1. ps3 fat has backwards compatibility

2. ps3 fat has 4 USB ports instead of only 2
