lots and lots of practice, If you havent done wushu for very long i dont recommend it... but to rotate wrap arms close to body, finish the kick as fast as possible, and torque your head, waist and anything else to your left.
ya pretty much, but a thing i do one thing different for a jump outside. I push in a clockwise position with my right foot as I jump off the ground in order to begin my rotation earlier. Its hard to explain but you sort of push with your right foot in the opposite position you are spinning in order to use the feet and legs to help with rotation instead of using only the waist. so basically, start the spin when you leave the ground not when you're in the air. I'll clarify if you want, just ask.

good tornado but it'd be a lot better if you didn't stop your momentum right before takeoff (same with double legged tornado)
