  • Some of these are funny..I do have to say. But some of them are hilariously (Jim carrey) and strikingly (quinton Jackson, Nina dobrev, etc) similar hahaha.

  • honestly i don't have a problem with your list it's an opinion so.... ya but the only problem is, since FF originates from Japan wouldn't they use Japanese actors in a Live Action?

  • @Sparkling717 Well, (1) I'm not saying that they wouldn't or shouldn't use Japanese actors, (2) I certainly don't know enough Japanese actors to make that list even if I wanted to, (3) aside from a few characters, most FF characters dont' look Asian anyway since they have Western features. I have other less relevant reasons, but that should be enough.

  • @ArcangelParagon you do make a good point, i've never seen a japanese person with naturally red of blonde hair :)

  • lol 3:30

  • Vanille is supposed to be 19, not counting the 500 years that she spent in crystal form. Zooey Deschanel is 31. The side-by-side pictures are pretty good, though. I like your other choices.

  • @Thinker2112 It's actually VERY common for older actors/actresses to play younger characters if they have the looks to pull it off. Zooey Deschanel can definitely pass for being around mid-20's, and since Vanille's age is irrelevant to the storyline, she can be aged by a few years so they can meet somewhere in the middle. The age doesn't have to be EXACT, they just have to be somewhere close to the age.

  • @ArcangelParagon I know that it's common. I just think someone younger might be more convincing. My suggestion, off the top of my head, is Evan Rachel Wood.

  • @Thinker2112 Anime and JRPGs intentionally make characters younger for their target audiences. Preteens are fledgling warriors, late teens are already expert fighters, and 30s are wrinkled vets. In live action, I don't think casting actual 18-year-olds will look as convincing. You can pull this off if you get older actors and have them play younger characters.

Incidentally, Evan Rachel Wood is an EXCELLENT choice for Vanille.

  • @ArcangelParagon I see your point (and maybe I saw it before you said it--Evan is 24).

  • @Thinker2112 I know how old she is. I'm just saying that I don't really see age being the problem with getting Zooey as Vanille either.

  • @ArcangelParagon No, I'm agreeing with you. I meant to emphasize that she's five years older than Vanille is supposed to be, not that she's seven years younger than your pick.

  • @Thinker2112 Oh okay. lol Well, like I said, Rachel Evan Wood really is an excellent suggestion and I probably would put her if the video wasn't finalized (final video link in the description; maybe you should check it out). I think I'll add her to the rest of the backups in the description there too.

  • Jack Black as Gilgamesh.. Probably the greatest idea ever.

  • Final Fantasy 8, Rinoa... Perfect Match! 100%!

  • how about robin williams für Cid Kramer??

  • Can you imagine how much more money these actors would make if they truly made movies of these series and not just Advent Children and Spirits Within?

  • @ArcangelParagon Thanks for the reply I'll be on the lookout for the video. and thanks for taking the time to post the video so many FF characters.

  • Dude, I started to crack up at 3:30.LMAO too funny and also Gilgamesh. For Final Fantasy VII sephiroth doesn't convince me. that guy should play Seymour Guado.

I don't know the looks of Pegasus from Yu-Gi-Oh but he should do Sephiroth with that voice. Squall & RInoa are Spot-on. Ian Somerhalder from Vamp Diar could also play Zell . Keep Selena Gomez for Garnet. Hugh Jackman doesn't fit with Auron James Remar Mortal Kombat 2. And we are missing Rydia FF4
