That was fantastic!! don't listen to all the people who say it wasn't right: yes, it needed the pedal, but the fact that it sounded so good without it is a credit to your playing :) good job!!

You play well but the ending is a little too fast starting at the song's climax. I tried to sing along with it for practice. As a piano piece it's good but if you even intend it to go with someone singing it you may need to slow down near the end (just a tad, not a bunch)
Isnt that wrong?.. or did you add some of your own things?...Check out "Spyderjosh" his version of defying gravity,.. doesnt sound like this and hes doing it from the book
@Outsider2212 no, it is right. Spyderjosh is using the Vocal selections which include the vocal line in the piano music. This version is taken from the Vocal Selections which do NOT include the vocal line (so basically something like a karaoke track but on piano)
@esp567 Ughh, I really want the sheet music to this! haha my choir teacher has it and I play what I can when i'm there but still. :) So did you learn this by ear or from sheet music?
I though it was good needs more pedal, i have seen the musical and played the same or very similar argument for a small group who preformed this for a variety show. I have played piano for 16 years so i no what im talking about when i say it was good just use more pedal and put more emotion into it and really feel the song, u did very good though, keep it up!! God Bless!
I didn't use as much pedal I as would have normally because the pedal made an awful squeaky noise so and I didn't want it to ruin the song. Also, (1 nkheart1) I figured most of it out on my own with a little help from the piano book you can buy.
This is by far my favourite version! One day, if I play for a hundred years, I'll be able to play about a tenth as good as that! Thanks for uploading this fantastic performance!
did you have sheet music???? If so, please, PLEASE tell me where you get them. I would be very happy.

mrsouundtech14 2 years ago
This was great! But you really need to speed it up in the beginning and play a little bit louder. Other than that, FANTASTIC! 4.5/5 :)
