  • Well at least he told the truth. But oh well atheists will still cry a river over it.

  • LOL it's Alabama. Who cares?

  • @MilagroVision I'm really sorry that you were born retarded. . .oh I mean mentally disable.

That was rude of me using the word retarded.

  • While I agree with her, being an atheist -who is very fucking offended by the Governor- and someone who doesn't necessarily enjoy living in Alabama, but feels some degree of pride for his state, I'm pretty offended by what she said.

  • @MilagroVision I have found many truths, especially about life and our place in the universe. As for air - of course I know it's there - it is immediately tangible and testable, and I have many senses through which I can sense it. Just close your mouth and nose and it becomes evident rather quickly. Can't get much more direct than that. As for any gods, however, so far none have registered anywhere - no matter what orifices I open or close. I haven't even found a need for one, yet.

  • @MilagroVision Whoa, calm down. I am just saying if you are going to indirectly call someone a fool, then you need to carefully analyze what it is you have been saying, or are about to say next. I get the slight feeling you are actually trolling here, and if that is the case, then kudos to you YA GOT ME!

  • People who believe in Jeebus are morons,it's as made up as the tooth faerie and unicorns..but i'd rather believe in faeries and unicorns over Christian bullshit. Who would believe such nonsense as the bible?"The Good Book" my ass, there's more about spite and wrath in it than love and fellowship.Christians/Muslims and Jews are all a bunch of saps, soaked into believing a bunch of trumped up lies...get over yourselves.

  • @TalonX1982 You can't possibly imagine how congenial you just became to me :D

  • @TalonX1982 If people would just understand the intent and the actual meaning of his words they would understand they weren't meant to be inflammatory or racist IN ANY ASPECT. Stop looking for something to be insulted over, and stop jumping to conclusions. The man has his faith and should be respected for his own decisions just as much as we respect those that differ from us.

  • @MilagroVision "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." ~ Abraham Lincoln

You should use extra precaution when wielding a double-edged sword.

  • I live in Alabama and have to now deal with this douchebag. I'm glad I'm not your brother means I won't have to come to the inbred family reunion. Someone please impeach/assasinate him so I don't have to deal with this shit for 8 years.

  • @MilagroVision Zeus, Horus and Wotan still love you! Satan is out to get you and Dionysus died for your sins!

  • See, that's where I am a better man than Governor Bentley. I would still do for him any service I would render unto any other man, woman or child on Earth when danger is threatening or disaster has come. Regardless of religion, ethnicity or any other imaginary and arbitrary division of one human from another. And I am a damned Atheist. Feels strange to call myself a better man than someone else, but others have also said that to me. I may be over the hill and a clutz, but I mean well.

  • Alabama voted for him and Alabama can keep him....Bunch of loons.

  • No surprise--pretty typical of Christians.

  • I am in a deficit of negative adjectives that I could spew at this guy!

  • @MilagroVision

How has this anything to do with the comment that preceeded it? Should a state representative represent ALL of his/her constituents or not? Should they serve ALL of the people that elected them? Or just some of them?

  • That man is a true Christian.

  • @DrQuijano I pity Alabama

  • @MilagroVision

I assume that you feel that a state representative of any kind from any party ought to represent EVERYONE in that state, and not just those of a particular religious bent?

  • @MilagroVision This is just the "no true scottsman" aurgument. It's a logic fallacy.

  • @MilagroVision

My dad used to quote this to me when I was a child. I always thought it was cool.

  • Can a republican even open his/her mouth anymore without proving to be an asshole?

  • for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46“For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47“If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48“Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

  • christians are so unlike their jesus

  • @MilagroVision Oh I'm sorry, you want me to quote the new testament?

Matthew 12:30-He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Even if I quote the old testament Jesus himself says he did not came to change the laws, and they are valid till the end of the world

    Matthew 5:17-18

So maybe you need to grab a knife and go kill some homosexuals, or treat women as tools, go buy a slave or kill me, the atheist.

Sugar pick all u want, your god is an ass

  • Damn, I was so excited to vacation in the amazing state of Alabama this summer but I guess now I'll have to go somewhere shitty like Disney World or the Bahamas...

  • @MilagroVision Sorry, but I rather use a rational approach rather than your barbaric ways of the bible.

  • @MilagroVision I only speak of civil rights, you are suggesting to use Christian ways of killing.

Leviticus 20:13-13 If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death.

2 Chronicles 15:12-13 They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul. All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

  • I am SO glad I'm not his brother. He's one goofy looking weirdo.

    Pedo? Probably...

  • remnants of the past

  • @MilagroVision And we don't need to worship anything, many of us have emancipated ourselves from the dependence of religion, we don't need it, if you wish to pray to the air go ahead, but if you think that by doing so you need to take my rights and my freedom then you can just go fuck yourself.

  • @MilagroVision How about not just freedom of religion but freedom from religion? It's been really terrible to have Christians mandating everyone to live by their ancient morals and dogmas. We're done with that crap, we can't just sit by and let them pretend that in the world there is only one religion and only one acceptable way to live. We need to let them know they are just one religion of thousands, and just cause they are greater in number it doesn't mean they are right.

  • @MilagroVision We have been silent for 2 thousand years, I say it's time to speak up against the madness of religion.

  • Christians can be so loving like their idol, the gay desert suicidal Jew with his 12 boyfriends.

  • @MilagroVision Since there seems to be no access to your world, I guess I'll simply never understand. Oh, well - there's six billion other voices out there to pick up on, so I guess there's no need to dwell on this one.

  • @MilagroVision I'll WTF you if I don't know WTF you're saying. What research do you purport that I need to do? I don't understand what motivated your comment? Are you some kind of religious zealot or something? I mean, really...WTF?

  • cue deliverance banjo theme....

  • @MilagroVision WTF?

  • The sickness continues to spread. When will we find a cure for this disease?

  • An American taliban

  • I`m glad I`m not an american. It would drive me crazy to live in a country with so many religious idiots.

  • The taliban are already inside the USA, the christian taliban

  • Apparently one doesn't need a sense of humanity to be elected governor in Alabama.

  • Great. It's been my life-long dream to live in Alabama and it's now it's all shattered. Guess I'll have to go back to Paris, or L.A. or New York. Heavy sigh.

  • IRONY or what?

  • Shit. I wonder how many lawsuits this governor is going to get, and how long he'll last before hes kicked and tossed into a cell with a muscled atheist.

  • @secretk33per According to The Federal Bureau of Prisons, chances of him finding an atheist in prison are about 1 in 400.They count 0.209% of prison population to be atheist.Lucky for him prison is made up of about

80% Jesus believers.Brothers as far as the eye can see.

  • @yourfullofsheite -sigh- A man can't make a joke without someone ruining it. Thanks a lot.

  • @secretk33per that's not very likely because atheists are under-represented behind bars. we don't need a big sky-daddy to be moral.

  • @hardinmichael1981 You fail to realize the joke in my words. Must I place symbols at the end of each sentence as a child would do?

  • @secretk33per no I just responded to your joke with one of my own.

  • @secretk33per yeah I got it. I just responded to your joke with one of my own.

  • Yet another reason from me to feel shame for living in the South. Greeeat.

  • @fudgeman362 I think I know how you feel. Like being stuck in a big mental ward. Show us the birth certificate.

  • Like I'd ever wanna go to Alabama, anyway.

  • This is Christian. Believe it or not.
