Damn, the first level in this game with this song playing just makes me want to blast through the level, but it's so god damn hard that I die incredibly fast. But then you get that awesome streak where you're just blazing through everything, hopping over everything. Such a fun level

You could get it for the Virtual Console on the Wii... There is rumours of the 3DS adding GBA games, so maybe the GBA SMW might get on there? Anyhow, this game in particular is one of my favorites in the SMB series. Why?

Because I would always rocket off of Yoshi to reach a way off platform D:

@Amuppet That's because we all come here to take a look back at the scrolling screen, chainsaws, enemies, hard platforming, with a touch of the Game Over screen. Yet, this themes make it all epic. :)

@superluigi132 When this game came out I was 2, my first completed level at the age of 5. I fully completed the game at the age of 12... (96 levels).

And I remember the scrolling screens, chainsaws and everything else like it's burned in my eyes...

Nowadays games that I'm completing (ff13, fallout, crysis2) will never be on a equal level as this game.

That said, retro-gaming rocks.
