I think I just tinkled my pants giggling. I don't mind celebs voicing their political opinions. I just think it usually helps to explain WHY you like a candidate (issues, voting records, etc) as opposed to saying "Vote for this guy because I said so" or "Vote for this guy because the rest of the world will like you more" or "Vote for this guy because he's authentic". That might be enough for his crazy stalker fans but not for thinking adults.

Well, I can honestly say he is a good bassist that I enjoy to listen to... however why do musicians or even celebrities bother putting their opinions in... I was laughing as I heard him say that the presidential candidate is 'authentic'... yeah I guess he is if you know what you are looking at. Frankly, Duran Duran is Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes. All the rest of them are disposable. Nick and Simon write the stuff, Simon rules the vocals, Nick rules the music. John and Roger used to be pretty and good for posters and videos but no more.
