Communists, they take everything in the name of the people & then sell it for their own personal gain. All the people of Vietnam have been reduced to the level of slaves, to be used for the enrichment of the powerful few. Jane Fonda please look at your handwork, if a person like her were capable of shame, she'd die from what this should bring her.

@saigondj: I really have to wonder that you'd have to wonder why anyone would be angry at Fonda. Holding people accountable for their treasonous action is NOT hating them.

@saigondj: Well, her helping the Hanoi gov't torture prisoners of war is an outstanding example of her treason, as well as her making propaganda broadcasts for the communists.

@VictorLepanto in what way did she help Hanoi govt. toruture POW? That seems inhuman. YOu honestly believe Jane Fonda is that barbaric?

@saigondj: She is that stupid, & that self centered that she didn't see the obvious nature of what she was doing. The POWs were tortured to make propaganda announcements for the Hanoi regime. They were literally tortured for years for this purpose. When she went to Hanoi as an act of solidarity w/ the communists, she said she would interview them to "find out" if they were being abused. Naturally they were tortured to say things the regime wanted. Thus she is responsible for their torture.

@saigondj: I find it too incredible to imagine that even she was so stupid as to not see what would come of her actions. I have to believe that on some level she believed these men deserved to be tortured for fighting to stop the spread of communist slavery. That she is blind to this to even this day speaks profoundly against her as a person.

I hope the new cardinal for Vietnam can find total trust faith though god to cope with the negative pressure their government gives them
