I've heard this song for the first time in the movie "Girls just want to have fun" (with Sarah Jessica Parker & Helen Hunt) and ever since then I love it. This is the first time though that I've seen the video. Comparing it with the scene in the movie the video clip is a bit boring, but the song is fantastic nonetheless :)

@Tex200950 erm, those were the eighties and the world was not necessarily safer, during that decade we had the remnant of the cold war, political upheavals, international terrorism, desasters, the first gulf war between Iraq and Iran, Lockerbie, Chernobyl, political hardliners like Andrpow and Tschernenko, insane despots like Nichola Ceaucescu, the Tianamen Massacre, a then rapid spread of AIDS.... coming to think of it the eighties were pretty dangerous....good music though ;-)
