that's a bummer you have this problem. maybe that is why they came out with a glossy finish? i opted for the glossy ones because I prefer the boots to look the way i bought them. if you ever want to get another pair, you might want to check out the glossy finish wellies. they do help brighten up a rainy day.
hey i also have hunter boots and that white stuff on your boots its called BLOOMING but you can clean them and make them look brand new with the hunter boot buffer spray.. i bought that spray the very same day i bought my boots.. you should take a look into that if you havent been able to solve this!
Hi JeweledCoutour...The white powder on your Hunters is normal, although it didn't used to come out on older Hunters made in Scotland. You have the right stuff to remove it - the UV Tech Spray - but do have to scrub at it quite hard. Rather than spraying it on and then just patting it off, you need to spray some onto a cloth and rub it onto the boot quite hard as if you are polishing them. I'd suggest doing just a small area first to reassure yourself that it does actually work! Good luck!
Try rubbing them with a little olive oil xx
