  • "Quick, suck it before the venom reaches my heart!" Always loved that line!!

  • this song/scene inspired me as a child in the 80s

  • prince and the revolutions around the world in a day seems to be heavily influenced by this track.

  • This is such a good song, and a terrific movie. All I can say is those guys are very very luck! ;)

  • yeah, we all know what a hookah is...but you know what the connotation was supposed to be. come on. :) they couldn't openly do anything. it's scandalous they were openly kissing that one girl in the movie and making anti-war statements. even those were whitewashed. have you not seen this movie?

  • im so jealous of that girl who kissed micky :P

  • @sallyg270 i'll bet you also fancy ringo out of the beatles, don't you?

  • @bakayurei I'm more of a George person than a Ringo Person...but i really cant choose..its like choosing a favorite Monkee...its just not possible :P

  • Boy some of this dancing is similer to todays dancing. lol love the monkees

  • “Being around those beautiful girls doing those belly dances and those cymbal dances, I was just beside myself with lust and passion and kept making these cheesy, sleazeball passes at them. Oh, my Lord. If I could go back to every one of them and send them a box of soap, I would.” thats what Mike said of filming this scene. lol

  • @1967sanfrancisco where did you find that??? :D

  • Helena Kallianiotes at :30. Later was part of the classic diner scene in "Five Easy Pieces."

  • i totally dig it.

    i love the monkees <3

  • 58 people can dig it. :D

  • k putaria kkkkkkk

  • Always loved this song!!

  • Was Mickey toking on the bong? I can dig it! I was only 10 in '67, but all my older friends who had to go to 'Nam told me of all the great drugs in that era. We had some pretty good ones in the '70's but I thank God I didn't do them all!!! 1962 to 1972 had the best music ever. Psychedelic, pop, bubble gum, early Motown, even some of the country (Cash, etc.) was cool. Nancy Sinatra in that bikini!

  • @jeffrefrig Actually, it's a hookah, not a bong. They're available in many smoke shops, but usually quite expensive, gorgeous works of art. You can get flavoured tobacco mixtures made just for use in a hookah. Common in Middle Eastern areas, as a social interaction for men, primarily.

  • Dear Micky- I will always remember dancing in the park while you and my friend were playing- Oh what a magical night that was -Love the video xoxox

  • I love this vid! Pete can write some good music! I love it when Mike slides down his sunglasses to get a good perv!!! Long live Peter Tork!!! Love him to bits!! Why can't they write music like this today? It makes me sad!!

  • Love his face at the beginning

  • ok I WILL!

  • I dig it, all right. :)

Also, Mickey Dolenz (or whoever that is) is one lucky bastard. :D

  • @hypnodance Yup thats Mickey alright

  • @hypnodance Mickys lucky? Those girls are lucky especially the one who kisses him

  • 0 people have no taste in music and 28 ppl know it and know how to use it

  • post more songs from head please

  • I prefer this mix to the one released on the LP/CD. I hope Rhino releases a clean version of this on a deluxe edition.

  • Yes i dig it!

  • I would do anything to be one of the dancers, I really want to dance around the guys
